Ok, I've never owned a steelbook but I've been interested in getting a few lately and I have a few questions. First off, does anyone have a pic of a blu steelbook right next to a regular blu? Just for size comparison, I've searched a lot but couldn't find any.
Also, are American steel releases going to become more common? I know that the Bonds and a few others have come out, but was wondering about about them becoming more common with the format becoming more popular. The few I like so far are: Leon, Kill Bill 1 and 2, and Fight Club. The only thing I don't like about Fight Club is that the title runs length ways on the front. Is there any news of another version being released? Sorry for the noob questions |

No new news on Fight Club re-release.
Slowly US will get more releases, I'd bet. Although other countries release more but you can import them. Alot are region locked so you may want to choose wisely unless you plan on getting an all region player or a region B player or just dont give a damn and want that cool steel case. They are both regular size as any other blu-ray case. I will warn you now, SB collecting starts out with "I'll just get a few titles that I want" to ... "I want all!!!" ... In which case, It's very expensive ... RUN!!!! ![]() However they have a great resale value so your not really losing too much if any at all as you could always turn around and sell them, in many cases, for more than you paid, but then the SteelBook gods will rain hail rocks on that nice car of yours. ![]() |

![]() Plus, I'm kinda picky about looks and I don't like a lot of them. Just so happens that a few of my favorite movies have good lookin steelbooks (the Leon one is badass, matches my poster). ![]() |

Is there anywhere i could find a 2 disc holder for a steelbook? And by that I mean just the inside of the case. I want to put QoS and Casino Royale in the same steelbook but do not have a disc inlet. I wasn't sure where to put this question so move it if it needs to be moved.

Hey there,
Well if you own one of those James Bond Steels that got the manufacturing error where a 2-disc holder was put in the SteelBook instead of one then there's always that. I would tell you to search on eBay but I wouldn't know what keywords to search for. |

Do Steelbooks eventually go out of print a while after being released unlike standard blu-rays? If so, would it be worth buying any future Steelbooks and keeping them in the cellophane and selling them off at a later date? Like, will I make a profit when they are OOP and I decide to sell said Steelbook?

![]() Do not buy in hopes of making money. Look at what is going on now with the German Steels. Long out of print and very valuable steelbooks are now being re-released at rock bottom prices and completely deflating the value of their predecessors. I very much doubt FutureShop will ever re-release any OOP steelbooks, but no-one ever thought they would see Rambo or IAL in a store again in Germany and soon they will have both. Collect, and keep sealed, because you love the steel, not because you think you will make money. The first is very satisfying, the later is well ........ a crap shoot Cheers CrashKelly |

![]() For me, I purchase Steels for the awesome cover art, uniqueness of the item, and quality. I simply can't fully enjoy a sealed SB; I need to open it, remove the stickered wrapping, slip covers, back panels - so I can see all the artwork, inside and out ![]() |

I have to agree, buy movies that you love and don't buy any extra's unless you have the cash for them and willing to sit on them for awhile. I use to buy some extra's but have since stopped unless it is one of my favorites and I open one and keep one sealed. I have some slight OCD symptoms
