We got the molding and the doors installed and painted, we also finished making the frame for the screen.

Movie poster lights get installed Monday, then carpet on tuesday, some touch up paint, and then the fun begins.

We got some star light panels ordered, but they are estimating delivery in September so those wont be up till then.

Another Update.

Got the screen and Projector mounted, unfortunately we're having trouble finding more carpet for the machine room, and we need special double 20 amp breakers that are also hard to find because of Covid, so small delay there.

So I did a quick sound test and my right speaker is very quiet and whenI turn up the volume, it sends my amp into protect mode.

Hopefully it was just a wire issue, but once i do my final wiring and setup, I'll be able to know for sure.

There is always something. I don't know that I've ever had a new set up that didn't have some bugs or trouble shooting needed.

Good luck. As you said it sounds like a wiring issue.

I've heard of this happening when a frayed wire from one speaker cable gets loose and touches the binding post of another one on the amp or avr. Can be hard to spot in a dark space... are you using banana plugs on all the connectors and which ones? Some of mine look like the attached and sometimes a stray wire can come through and touch something it shouldn't.

Banana plugs, it's definitely either the wire, or something happened inside the wall and it's messing the wire since it's near the breaker box, today I'm taking the wire out and testing it, if the wire is fine, then something in the wall is doing this, and I will have to make a hole on the side of the wall and feed the wire through to the speaker box.

Well here is the issue, we must have hit it while doing the sheetrock.

Tested all 11 speakers and we are good to go.

Will have to install a secondary electrical panel, since I wont have room on the current one.

So glad it was a wire issue and not a equipment issue. I also wanted to add what an impressively organized back of the rack you have....I wish mine were as organized.

Nice find, that sucks, did you have to open the walls up to see it? Rack is looking sweet!

Nope, luckily I installed each speaker wire with a conduit, so I just attached a string and pulled the cable, only took me 5 minutes to do the replacement.
