I leave comments A LOT...... and very rarely leave a rating.... there are exceptions though

I'm all for people rating whatever they want to rate something. If the person receiving the ratings gets bent out of shape, that's their own problem.

There's no accounting for taste, so if someone doesn't like a set-up and rates it a 1, then they're entitled to, right?

And if a user thinks that the overall score of a theater is too high, maybe he's casting a 1 as his vote, to try to bring the score down. That seems a little more mean, but I think that's fine too.

I'll have to disagree with you toefer. The overall rating is a reflection of the whole community's votes - not just what a certain individual thinks it should be.

Their vote should reflect their own personal view on it only.

The only example I can think of where giving a '1' would suffice is if there isn't any pictures of any kit at all lol ! I personally didn't give a monkey's about getting a '1' but it did make me question the individual's motives behind it.

This happened to me a while ago when the rating system was brand new, it sucks, most of the time its from new members that possibly just join the site to leave bad ratings, if that is fun for them then I feel sorry for whoever gets a kick out of doing that...

anyway i went through and looked at most of the galleries from this thread, very nice everyone 10's across the board
