We show our colors by posting things of intererst, exposing trolls, speaking the truth, and support the one true home theater experience. If you see FUD, cast out the Fear, turn Uncertainty into Understanding, assure those who Doubt.

Many claim to fight the fight but in the end are DUDers and FUDers. You see HD-DVD, you have many slaves, but few warriors. I brought more warriors than you. This ... is ... blu-ray!

I spent some time actually reading threads at AVS yesterday for the first time, their $h** has to be stopped....I am in! Even if I have to go out in the wilderness and kill 2 wolves....

Can we not do this? I'm getting really worn out by all the rah-rah/warrior stuff. HD-DVD people have resorted to this because they have chosen the wrong format, for whatever reason, and now are faced with the consequences. Most of them have bailed on HD-DVD or gone neutral, and for those that remain, the very nature of the situation REQUIRES that they are definitive "Fan Boys" or "Format Warriors" as they have stuck to their choice in the face of reason. We do not need to do this. It's silly. It's unncessary. It's tacky. This Blu Blood Oath stuff is patently ridiculous. Listen to what we are saying! Declaring allegience to a packaged media format? Are we INSANE?!?

We are not here to cause trouble on the boards. Sure, many of the DUDers have turned tail and ran, but that will not stop Toshiba. Our show of unity here sends a strong message to all companies who support blu-ray. We need to show a strong standing and be counted. If we don't demand to be counted and noticed, we become weak and complacent.

I'm not here to tell people to attack the other forum. We are here to support THIS forum, and minimize the impact of any offering from HD-DVD.

Part of the reason for this thread is so we can see our numbers. We need at least "300" It will grow. Just remember guys, leave the FUD to the DUDers. We can make this great forum the GREATEST forum.

I'm not suggesting that you were doing any of that. I'm just saying it's really silly to talk about "unity" and "strong messages" in a freakin' format war. This isn't a Civil Rights movement.
