I was at the sports pub this afternoon and most people there were watching, you guessed it, the NFL combine. One sad little TV was showing NASCAR and nobody seemed to be watching it.

Last year 5.2 million people watched the combine. That's better ratings than ESPN gets for regular season baseball games, and ESPN is in almost twice as many homes as NFL Network. I just don't understand how the owners and players don't look at stuff like that and realize the damage a lockout could do to the league's popularity.
