I would think Robert Kraft's proclivities sting worse than anything on the football field.

Maybe to Kraft, his family and personal friends..but I doubt the players/staff really care.
Losing a Championship, which would’ve been the first 3-peat in the SB era, definitely stings more than the widowed owners happy ending.
Pretty sure a poll of NE fans would confirm this.

I still don’t get why he chose to go to a sketchy place like that.

Of course Philly already denied them a 3-peat, and that will sting for quite a while, regardless of past titles won.
Negative, the ‘17 loss doesn’t sting a bit to be honest.

I'm not buying this, especially when the the score was close. Shit, both losses to the Giants have to sting as well. To think a combined 15 pts is what's keeping the B&B era from a perfect 9-0 SB record.

The ‘07 one absolutely, that one will always sting. the other 2 not really both defenses were mediocre at best in those SB I really thought the Pats had no business winning both those games.

Not sure what you think the league can do.
As stated, if you don’t like it....beat them.
I said they need to change scheduling. Having division rotations would be part of that. All the previous years playoff teams would play each other at least once for starters.

Probably wouldn’t matter. New England has proven they can pretty much overcome whatever is in their way and set themselves up for Championship run.
Again, you don’t like it just beat them.

It’s not “shtick”, it’s fact. It’s was brought up in reference to New England.
Don’t like it, just win.

I'm well aware of why it was brought up, you just sound like a broken record.

Can't, I don't play for the team (despite a great 40 time), so I will continue to watch, but thanks for your sage advice!

As a Patriots fan nothing comes close to losing in 2007, nothing. Undefeated season was literally a missed interception, a missed holding no call on the entire offensive line for the giants and a ridicules shoe string catch from perfection! Even just thinking about it right now turns my stomach a bit.

The second Giant's victory well they had a far better squad that year so it stings a heck of a lot less, at least for me.

No doubt.

They finished 10 - 6 on the season the first time, 9 - 7 the second so I don't know if they were a far better squad. They just happened to click at the right time...heading into the playoffs. The fact that the Patriots had a shot at redemption (not to mention another ridiculous catch by Manningham) and came up short again has to be a little bit nauseating in its own right.

I don't know/care which one stings more for the Pats. All I know is that as an Eagles fan, Super Bowl 52 was amazing and something I genuinely thought I'd never see

But you almost watched it happen at SB 39 (I'm assuming you're old enough, if not then disregard). That's still has to resonate with you a little bit, especially with the score being so close.

That was my whole point responding to the guy who said he wasn't bothered by the loss at all. As a fan of a certain team, making it to the championship game (no matter what sport) and losing has to sting a little bit on some level. You do eventually move on from it but it's a void that will always be there. The 49ers losing to Baltimore still sucks 6 years later.
