Look at all the recent winners its basically either a qb on a rookie contract or a possible HOFer.
Gonna tell me Brady winning 2 years ago was the same Brady as before? Or how about Nick Foles winning 3 years ago.

Brady 2 yrs ago was probably better than when he won his 1st but was still a HOFer.
Foles didnt play the full season Wentz was actually having an mvp yr till he got hurt.

Again almost any qb can win but the odds are so stacked against them unless the rest of the team is really exceptional in alot of other categories & that is just hard to do.

Fixed it for you.....

It will be interesting if teams start viewing salary caps + QB's portion differently, considering what the Chiefs were able to do with a QB that took up 17% cap space.

Just go BPA with each pick. Teams get themselves in trouble by drafting for need.

Goff had an amazing season last year. There’s no reason he can’t do that again this year.

PFF ranked him 19 passing & 20 overall.
He had a bunch of plays that shouldve been turnovers that werent & those usually eventually balance out.
Also his big time throw rate was among the lowest.

Hes not a downfield thrower which is why they went out and got him 2x RB that can catch, He has a genuine #1 in Williams for deep threat + plus St Brown for over the middle they have tailored the offense to Goff inability to pass deep. But hey I control the clock I only need to get 3.5 yards per play to get a new first down every drive.

The whole Lamar Jackson ordeal has more drama in it than a private high school.

Seeing a little bit of rumbling (fantasy, as of now) that Detroit could make a play for Ed Oliver.

Per Schefter - The Eagles are giving All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson a one-year, $33.445 million contract extension that includes $30 million guaranteed, Johnson is now under contract through 2026.

I’m surprised Zeke has as much of a market as he does.

I dont think he does:

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said “We like our team as where it’s at right now. But it’s always funny when things get thrown around. Sometimes, it’s the first you hear of it. But that’s just the way life works.”

He is going to get a bottom end deal or completely incentive based if even that. Im drawing a blank trying to think of any team that could use him to be honest.

Lamar Jackson has requested a trade

Quote:
Lamar Jackson doesn’t think the Ravens are willing to pay him what he’s worth, and he wants to find a team that will.

Toward that end, Jackson tweeted in a letter to his fans this morning that he has requested a trade.

“I want to first thank you all for all of the love and support you consistently show towards me,” Jackson wrote. “All of you are amazing and I appreciate y’all so much. I want you all to know not to believe everything you read about me. Let me personally answer your questions in regards to my future plans. As of March 2nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization for which the Ravens has not been interested in meeting my value, any and everyone that’s has met me or been around me know I love the game of football and my dream is to help a team win the super bowl. You all are great but I had to make a business decision that was best for my family and I. No matter how far I go or where my career takes me, I’ll continue to be close to my fans of Baltimore Flock nation and the entire State of Maryland. You’ll See me again.”

Jackson is currently a free agent who has had the franchise tag placed on him, which means that he is free to talk to other teams, and if one of them signs him to an offer sheet and the Ravens don’t match the offer, that team would send the Ravens its next two first-round draft picks and Jackson would go to his new team.
