Impressive compilation of info. Good work! Thanks!

So I don't know if this is the place to ask this, but has anybody seen Katsuhiro Otomo's anthology film SHORT PEACE? It's getting a BD release in Japan in January, and I was really intrigued by the trailer. However, I'm wondering how gory this is.... My threshold is pretty low. Evangelion is probably the most I can take... Any thoughts?

Strike Witches as a S.A.V.E. edition? That's just horrible.

Why? It's not like it hasn't already gotten a regular release.

Took the words out of my mouth. Maybe Funimation's "War on Pants" marketting campaign didn't really pan out.

Edit: Wow. They're only $14.99 each on Rightstuf. Seems weird to see an entire anime that cheap.

Yeah, but S.A.V.E. is supposed to be for poorly performing titles nowadays.

Just Kamisama Kiss for me. I found it simple, and cute. I like that every now and then.

Well Strike Witches was successful when it 1st came out on DVD. But I guess once it came out to Blu-ray, it sold poorly and this is the result.

Oh well I have the first releases of Strike Witches so no problem for me. I'm happy to see that Evangelion 3.33 is confirmed though.

Same. One of these days I'll have to plunk down $100+ for the Steins;Gate LE.

Will also get Evangelion 3.33 if the disc is a BD50. If the packaging is shit like Funi's 2.22, I'll import the HK Blu as well. If the Funi is a BD25 I'll forgo that release altogether and just content myself with the HK edition.

Well with the length of the movie, it likely including many Extras like the previous 2 movies to where the DVD version has to use a whole another disc just to contain them all, good audio and video and it should more than likely be using a BD-50. But I have no idea about the packaging.

What was wrong with the 2.22 packaging. It was just an amary with a slip. The 1.11 packaging on the other hand was terrible.

I much preferred the slipcase-digi 1.11 packaging, myself. The 2.22 packaging was terrible compared to what Japan and HK got... to say nothing of THE CHIPPING OF THE SLIP (especially on the hinged corner).
