If this has Japanese quality and engsubs I'll go nuts!
EDIT: Probably won't have subs.
Plain Archive has quite a few English friendly releases and the Korean release of Wolf Children was also English friendly so I'm kind of expecting an English track,
I believe that Wolf Children was not English-friendly, hence my edit.
My legitimate DVD copy had subs. I can't vouch for the BD, as I was waiting for the local release of that one.
EDIT: My bad, got my countries mixed up. I do not have the Korean version. I still imagine Plain Archive will source English materials as they often market their releases beyond Korea.
The reason why anime releases in Korean do not have Eng sub is because they can't add Eng Sub to Japanese anime or they'd have to pay a lot more for the copyrights. So this release from PA will certainly do not have subs, just like Wolf Children since it is released by the same company. A friend of mine is in Korea and working for a film studio there and that's what he told me about how Japanese animes can't have Eng sub.

That could explain why Love Live is being shown on TV in America in English dub on a Korean/American channel instead of subbed. Though i'm not complaining since I wanted to watch it in both languages anyways.

We know
That said, I did receive an engsubbed Korean anime Blu-ray release in the mail today
Ok guys I'm finally back not only to the boards but to getting back to this list. I have to apologize but as I'm sure we're all aware sometimes life throws us curve balls and I caught a major one over the course of the last year. I will be back to updating this list every chance I get starting this Sunday. The US release section is up to date as of this posting and the UK Section will be done either tomorrow (Saturday) night or Sunday morning. I don't know if I'll be able to commit to the Japanese list however. Anyway sorry once again and I'm sure you all have different places to get your release dates from but it's good to be back. ~poi~
I was going through my anime DVD selection and noticed the Revolutionary Girl Utena sets with the really impressive booklets. I was wondering what is going on regarding its US blu-ray release and what I found is over six months old...

No new news but I brought it up on an AMA with the CEO of RightStuf a couple of weeks back and it looks to still be happening. They're just going pretty slow with it for some reason or another.
On that note I was wondering today about that time Madman was hinting at potential (or rather gauging interest) for Cardcaptor Sakura on Region B Blu-ray a-la NISA's release. Shame they would presumably have scrapped it. I really would love to own it on BD locally.

SYNOPSIS: When most parents decide that their children need to see more of the world, they send their offspring on cruises or vacations. Rahzel Anadis's father simply kicks her out of the house with little more than the clothes on her back, the tiny hat on her head, and her stuffed bear with a blindfold. Being as resourceful as she is quirky, however, Rahzel quickly manages to recruit two tall, dark, and dangerous gentlemen as traveling companions. Well, tall and dark describes the oversexed Baroqueheat, while the moodier Alzeid is tall and pale. Though exactly how these brooding bad boys benefit from the arrangement is a bit less clear; especially since Rahzel spends the money they make performing perilous missions as fast as they've earned it. Could it be her endless optimism and quest for fun that has them bedazzled? Or is the connection something literally more magical? Whatever the reason, if there's an odd job to be done, the odds are that they'll take it in HATENKOU YUGI!

But he seems to be absent a lot. And even when he IS there, other people don't always see him. Because what Sakura doesn't know (yet) is that Rinne is part Shinigami and tasked with helping ghosts move from our plane to the next. Unfortunately, Rinne's not as powerful as a full Shinigami and could really use a little help. So… is this a supernatural hook-up made in Heaven or what? Format: BD, DVD
Language: Japanese with English Subtitles
SRP: $59.98, $49.98
SYNOPSIS: Playing Soft Tennis (like regular tennis but with softer balls and lighter racquets) is supposed to be the focus of the Shiratama Soft Tennis Team. And for some of the girls, like farm girl/would-be champion Asuna, it mostly is. But when the team's worst player, Chitose, is also the team captain, could it be that the club is really more about hanging out and having a good time? To be sure, aces Kurusu and exchange student Elizabeth, are great players. But they also seem more interested in cosplay and the team's dreamy adviser, while violence-prone Kotone might be more at home in a martial arts dojo. And it would certainly explain why they get into so many odd adventures involving things like giant bears, whales, and ghosts rather than playing! Either way, whether they're going for the championship or simply socializing, the one thing that's certain is that they'll be forging bonds of friendship that will last forever, off court and on, in SOFTENNI!
