Can anyone confirm on the PQ/AQ ? I read on Amz review that subtitle font is so small that its almost illegible but that's ok with me as long as PQ/AQ is serviceable .
I think it looked good, but I watched it over a year ago & now my memory is rather vague on this. Still, I don’t think I found it bad at all.

What’s bad about this release is the subtitles, which are too small & quite distracting. Unless you know the film by heart or understand French, you need to rely on the subs which are quite hard to read. This definitely takes away the enjoyment of the film.

Not Now Darling 1973 Trailer Restored - YouTube
They released that on DVD in 2012:

https://store.hmv.com/film-tv/dvd/not-now-darling

Probably exactly the same transfer that was released by Slam Dunk back in the mid-2000's.

Doubt it's high on their list of HD upgrades, but I do wish they'd release a decent version of What's Good For the Goose (a terrible film I know but almost hypnotically so) preferably with either the significantly shorter European cut included as a bonus feature or the couple of minutes of footage exclusive to that version reinstated into the UK cut.

The Asphyx is coming soon:

Release date: 11th June

I'm assuming it's going to be this disc:

http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparison....php?fid=20204

And via their 'Black House' label:

Release date: 21st May

The Asphyx is quite a neat little horror film, its main claim to fame is that it was photographed by the great Freddie Young.

Thanks. I'm currently debating with myself whether to get some titles from "Redemption Films" during the upcoming kino sale, or if i should wait for good prices on the UK counterparts...

While the content of the Redemption releases looks great, i quite dislike the cover artworks to be honest.

Any recommendations, pro's/con's on specific films that were released by both labels?

Do the new transfers appear on the UK Blu's?
Kino has the old one and the new color timing is contentious ( I think it's pretty bad ).

So far I've collected eleven Jean Rollin films on Blu. Six are from Redemption and the other five are from Screenbound. To be honest, I much prefer the Redemption releases because they have some really nice extras. The Black House versions have nothing but trailers for their own titles. I only picked them up for convenience really!

I bought a couple of first release on Blackhouse and Maison rouge

here's some reverse covers I posted in Haul thread

and not that impressed, probably still buy more but only at cheaper price £6 Sale would be good

Nucleus release of The Demons is worth getting, same print but they fixed few problems that Redemption had
I paid £10 on release but it's been available for £6 in Sale

Those covers are awful, surely it'd be no trouble to use original artwork? Or at least put a bit of bloody effort into them. Still this is Odeon who royally fckd up Bava's Whip And The Body and couldn't even be arsed to include the Italian track with subs!

Let's start off with two pieces of exciting news! Firstly, I am thrilled to announce the release of Blood on Satan's Claw
3000 Limited Editions Blu-Rays,
made from our newly restored 4K Master, including a host of brand new extras.
Release date Q4 2018 (December 17, 2018)

Also, there has been significant progress on the title Haunted House of Horrors.
The 4K remastering process will begin shortly, with a limited edition Blu-Ray being released 2019, with a raft of extras.

Someone who has purchased the UK Blu has posted a review on Amazon that this just contains the shorter version of the film. I was hoping for both cuts. I think I will be sticking with the SE DVD.
