watched this for the first time. LOVED it! Theresa Russell is one of the most underappreciated actresses of all time. She was absolutely wonderful in this. PQ looks really good IMHO. All-around great release by Imprint.

Digging into the extras. So far the interview with Theresa is outstanding. She looks good for her age. I always had a thing for her....

I've seen this once, but it was so long ago and on VHS that I can't recall anything about it. That's about to change, as I picked up this release second-hand "like new" for a song.

Review is up but it doesn't mention the cut footage that is missing from this release. Shame they couldn't include it as a supplement.

There is so much conflicting information in relation to the various cuts of this film.

One is that the cut material in nothing explicit, just shorten dialogue scenes.

Crimes of Passion (1984) is way more explicit than W h o r e and it never had any censorship issues in Australia or its cinema of VHS home video release.

Just watched it now, haven't seen it since the VHS days, it's a very funny movie and the use of music is perfection.

They ship in a box and well padded with bubble wrap... at least that is how they shipped it to me in the U.S.

Just keep in mind that they charge you upfront in AU$, so you are subject to foreign currency fluctuations. I lost $29 in a canceled order (but was able to recoup that with my visa).

Well after a little over a month Amazon finally delivered Wh0re on bluray today.

I thought it looked great and still think this is one of the most amazing performances by an actor in any film. Theresa Russell knocks it out of the park.

If this film was released today, it would get an R rating.

There is a fantastic interview with Theresa Russell on this film and a little bit of her career that was done in 2021. She still looks great and age appropriate. Once you see the interview you will know she is not the kind of person to get plastic surgery to stay young.

Imprint indicated the slipcover was limited so I was glad that mine came with the slipcover because this is one slipcover that I would be very disappointed in not getting.

So happy to finally have this film on bluray. If this was a DVD release I would still be jumping for joy. I will still keep my battered old VHS that I bought used from Rockaway Records in Los Angeles ten years after the film was released for $3.99 [price sticker and date still on the VHS cassette]

As you can see from the VHS, the front and back cover photos were both used for slipcover and bluray case cover.
