As a Mediumrare release of a new film I don’t expect them to produce any new extras.

Very few indie films get BDs or DVDs now let alone UHDs unfortunately.

Sorry, I’ve deleted all the emails from last year. As far as I remember it didn’t mention subtitles or extras, but I’ve pre-ordered it so can let you know once it arrives.

I also asked about the title change and 4K cancellation, but the promo guy didn’t know a reason for either.

Thanks that does sound alarming. Would be pass for me if it does not cary subtitles. It would be lazy as hell to not even put subtitles on for the movie you buy on Blu-Ray even streaming services cary them. It would literally be an outrage. I looked up other releases from them and i see they feauture subtitles at least those i checked. So would be very weird if this doesn’t cary them.

Anyone else had their Amazon pre-order shifted back to delivery on the 4th of Feb?

I received an email last week that moved the date back. Considering cancelling and just ordering on release day (30th) so it'll arrive on Tuesday (31st).

Amazon have been doing this quite a lot lately (on new releases)

My order also still says the 4th, but the status is ‘dispatching now’, so I’m guessing it’ll arrive on Monday anyway.

I've had the Dispatching now before (when Amazon have changed dates), had it held up until the release day... and then end up going via Royal Mail (as the delivery date was 4/5 days away).

But, knowing my luck, everyone will get their Amazon copy on Monday, LOL

I plan to order at a minute past midnight on Sunday (ie Monday) as I'll be watching the NFL Conference championship games (rather than being tucked up in bed) - hopefully it's still 12.99 & it'll arrive on Tuesday

Edit: Does anyone know if this is the same as the US disc? Just wondering especially as the title has been changed back to the original one.

Well - waited until after midnight to re-order... and there were 2 options, one before 1pm for the 30th (if ordered by 1am) and another that was delivery anytime on the 30th.

Very odd, out of interest, has anyone that pre-ordered received their copy or shipping notifications?

In terms of the release, it looks like it's the same as the US (content wise) with a very short making of and nothing else.

Wow this was amazing, i loved it, in my top 5 for last year (although due to a festival release in 2021 i guess it's a 2021 movie). Absolutely captivated me from start to finish, really well done. Only downside is some of the CG is a bit unconvincing (more select shots here and there).

My main gripe though is the PQ of the blu ray is not great, it does appear to be in line with the site review of the US disc, which only gave it 3 out of 5 for PQ. A new movie like this should really look a lot better.
