Yeah Aggie started it all!! He took all our covers uploaded them to Sandman's "house of blues" then started cussing everyone out and then trashed the entire thread!

Ya know what!? In all seriousness, your designs are great! I have to admit that some of what I said wasn't really fair to the others that contribute to this thread, so if I've offended any of those people (including you) that certainly was not my intention. We just need to change some habits on this thread and make everything fair to contributors.

I think all of you custom cover artist are great and thank you for taking the time to make these wonderful covers. I am using several of your covers, especially when they are made so we can ace the digi books and floating heads...I hope some artists come back and share again and that those of us that dont make covers will respect the "unwritten" rules of not posting others covers on sites without permission and give our support of saying thanks. Keep up the great work!!

Subliminal message.....Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz.....

Ok I tried to Post my Battlestar galactica covers here before and they did not get through so let's see if I can get this one going...

Here is my I am legend cover I made after my recent purchase of the Vernon cases (3 disc) that we became aware of a few days ago. I have the ultiimate edition package and love the holographic look and the artwork but it just does not fit on my shelf. I made the following for a 3 disc case I got from my recent order.

I know I am new here but...

After following the recent threads I will straight out say...

I am definitly looking for constructive crititcism on my designs but please explain to me how to accomplish the goal that your statement is looking for. I'm fairly well versed in photoshop but can always learn a new technique or a better, more efficient, way to accomplish something.

whether this be a "how to" or a link to a technique...it will be much appreciated.

Also one last note.... I do not care about my covers looking store bought... I like them to convey the meaning, to me, of the movie. So you will see minimal studio logos or icons, I do not consider this a flaw in my cover.

Thia is a work in progress and I will take all ideas that i like and release a final version if anyone is interested.

So here you go...

After all that drama, I feel a bit odd to ask this, so consider this more of an open question than a direct request. Since the Next Generation movies are coming out next week, are there any cover designers planning on making customs for those? I haven't been to the site in months so I can't remember the names of who did covers for the first collection, but I'd be very interested in completing the set, since the cover art Paramount is going to give us will probably be garbage.

Canada bpmford - Blu-Series

Well, BigDumbWookiee's 6-disc cases that he purchased went to great use. So, here are mine all in 6-Disc cases ... I am sooo happy to finally get this done. It opened up tons of space on my shelf, finally got my sets back to having all discs in them, and gets me ready for some future releases!

Hey, could anyone out there who's actually good at this stuff do a request for me. This is a region b request, in case you don't understand what I mean.

OK so I've bought The Fast and the Furious Blu-rays, and to be honest, they look fantastic. But the new one, with them, looks tatty and out of place. Could anyone do a custom cover in the style of the first three. Again this is in England for anyone still confused.

BPM, would you ever consider making a template with your blu series stuff? theres a few movies id like to dabble with for strictly personal use of course, and i enjoy making stuff in photoshop, but im having a hard time making a uniform spine such as you have,

if not i completely understand if you dont wish to have your work given out, it truly is some great graphics work, so keep it up! makin my shelf look gorgeous haha

Paramount's Star Trek art is pretty bad for the collection releases, but for the individual releases of the first contact and the others, I think those look pretty cool.
