I did partake in the end. Predator and The New Mutants for a whisker over £13.

Yeah much better than the Shocktober prices, shame they're mostly older titles though.

La Grande Bouffe is good at £7.30. As I understand it all copies come with a booklet, not just first pressing.

Arrow site states "Booklet featuring new writing on the film by Johnny Mains, illustrated with original archive stills and posters" so you could be right.

The UHDs are priced pretty well. Wish I didn't buy the Children of the Quorn set now, as I already own the 88 set.

To clarify a guy at Arrow confirmed it back in the days when you could call direct. Some time has passed which is why I used the qualifier, "As I understand it..."

Yeah, I did pick up a couple I didn't have. Red Scorpion and A Woman's Life. I've also managed to amass enough points for a tenner off so I used that as well. The order came to £4.60

Even after asking for a replacement, Rarewaves issued a refund for Event Horizon, annoyingly, it was the one out of the three that I was looking forward to see the most.

Not sure if it was ever sent, can't recall having lost items in the past thankfully.

They did the same to me. I don’t think they ever sent them out which is why they were more than happy to offer refunds to people who asked for replacements.

Rarewaves would help them selves if they used something more trackable such as delivery to a local Argos rather than 'take it or leave it' second class post

As much as I want people to receive what they paid for, the problem is that rarewaves won't let go of Royal Mail who have a yearly strile every year between October and the end of December

I received my cheapo copy of Event Horizon from Rarewaves, so they definitely sent at least one copy out.

Forgot to say, that £5 off £15 offer on Amazon expired yesterday but I just cancelled two items I'd pre-ordered on two different account using it and it reappeared in my basket both times...so I just pre-ordered The Man on the Roof (Radiance) and Walking the Edge (Fun City) for £12 each!

Also, I noticed comments on HotUKDeals that the discount still appears in the basket despite the actual offer expiring yesterday...for how long who knows! If anyone forgot to use theirs, now would be a good time...

Rarewaves have managed to lose 6 Blu-rays, all from several different orders over the last month. I've asked for replacements but with those odds I can't say I'm expecting anything.

Sounds more like Royal Mail strike issues and sorting issues

I'm waiting on a few from them too for about 2 weeks. They have asked me to wait a few more days.
