I have always used paypal and never got the free shipping- maybe it only works with certain addresses or perhaps on the old postcodes vs. new Eircodes.

Anyone know roughly how long it takes for Zoom to get items back in stock? When they did the 3 for £30 on 4ks, I ordered 9 items, but only 8 arrived. I emailed them and they said they were just waiting on more stock. That was almost 2 weeks ago.
The real cherry on top was the wonky artwork printed on the slipcover of Groundhog Day 👌 |

Ordered GHOSTBUSTERS II from Zavvi (yes, I know...) three weeks back. Web page said it was in-stock, confirmation e-mail said it was in-stock. Three weeks later and they haven't yet dispatched it because they don't have any... (aw, you're ahead of me!). Can't seem to cancel on the site, so I've sent off another e-mail. Useless!
In the meantime, I've now ordered it from Zoom. Hopefully it won't take forever. In fact, 3-5 days they said. One thing: I used the 10% discount voucher. £8.99 and no postage. Great! But I get a confirmation e-mail that tells me I paid £9.99. No! Just no! So I've fired off an e-mail to them, too! Oi vey! |

Zavvi got back to me pretty quick. They've cancelled my order as requested and will issue a refund within a few days. Fair play.
Zoom got back to me pretty quick, too... they told me there was a pre-purchase warning at checkout that the code had not be applied/was not applicable. That's not true. If it had said that I wouldn't have expected any discount, would I? It's not the price, it's the principle. I don't like to be charged more than I agreed to pay. That's against the law. Another e-mail... |
