The count is going well...but man, I don't think I've ever run a year where the positions change quite as much from vote to vote.

Tell me: Were there more voters this year or less? Seemed like it was the latter.

Lot of trolling and general condescension on the forums lately, but I agree this poll has become an annual bit of light around here. Looking forward to the results.

About average. Less than last year but more than other years. That's a guesstimate though.

By my quick tally of this year and of the listed voters in the first page of results from last year I think I counted something like 10 or 12 fewer voters this year.

I didn't see a voters list for the year before, but I believe last year was a substantial increase.

I do the overwhelming majority of my posting anywhere on this forum between January and March. Not to say I don't check in throughout the rest of the year, but I definitely look forward to this every year now.

This kind of stuff is motivation to keep contributing when you start to lose enthusiasm or question if it's worth it. The constant negativity can be a real drain, but the Top 25 always finds a way to cut through the b.s. and be a fun time, from the lead up of watching all the films you missed and organizing, to watching the results unfold.

Same. I ended up listing Eighth Grade at #2 and I see it listed pretty highly on a lot of lists. So I think it has a pretty good shot at making the Top 25.

Eighth on my list, definitely looking forward to future projects from Burnham and Fisher.

I’m sure if you’re quick enough and the votes are still being tallied, you’re vote can be added on at the end. Just message thewerepuppygrr to ensure it gets included.

In other news, "A Quite Place" has overtaken "Rouge One" as the most mis-typed film of the decade.

I almost always misspell Eighth Grade when typing the title and my auto-correct fixes it for me.
