Yep. As much as I enjoy our new "either you agree with me or I'll destroy you at all costs" style of debating, I miss civil discourse.

I don't know. Now that I know there are more Superman statues coming, I'm at least a little tempted. I'd like to know the scale of Cyborg Superman and Zod first I guess.

I only saw the ones BatmanStatueCollector shared and I'm pretty sure they're only in 360p, which sucks.

I do too. But this is kind of fun though.

I think Cyborg Superman is 1/3. And now thinking more about this they must also be doing a Rebirth Superman because I don't think they'll only make a Zod from it. Maybe they'll do other Rebirth characters too.

Yeah, all those Asia Con videos that Batman Statue Collector gets come straight from Kelvin. Kelvin owns ShiokToys which is a big statue store over in Malaysia, and he's always at all the P1 cons and he is the main guy that interacts with everyone in the US about P1. This is him:

You'll probably see this guy pop up the more you get into Prime 1.

Ha, it's really not! I usually mock people online no matter what part of the spectrum they land on when they post fake news and act insane.

Well they did announce a Rebirth license a while ago. Some of them would be okay. I mean characters like Zod never really had a set outfit anyway.

Oh gotcha. I just thought he was a fan and nothing more.

That is hilarious! How did you do that?

We all go a little insane sometimes .

I didn't even realize they announced the Rebirth license. I can't keep up with everyone! I could go on and on about there being too much, but in reality this is so much better when all we had was Sideshow.

Well you're not wrong, all he technically is is a Prime 1 super fanboy. But he is very tight with Prime 1 so he gets all the inside info. There is also this guy Mister J that people talk about, I think he is the head honcho at P1 but he usually only interacts on facebook so I've never seen him.

I just used the meme generator website and uploaded the 4 pictures.

Did you see the camera test of the new Joker movie? I have e feeling this isn't the final version yet, but people are still freaking out about it.

At least he has more emotion than Brie Larson

True.

Well they've announced hundreds of licenses it seems like! Remember over a year ago when they announced the Kingdom Come license? Good times.

Hmmm...interesting.

I can't watch Twitter videos on my work computer and my phone is almost out of data. I'll have to check it out later. Anyone can have more emotion than Brie Larson!

That one I remember. But I don't remember many of the others. If it makes you feel better they announced possibly the entire lineup of four from the Arkham Knight Season of Infamy DLC and then announced they were ending the Arkham line before they showed a single one. Whatever you do don't ever plan for a full set of characters from any line because every manufacturer stops their lines before they're complete.

You're almost out of data? I don't think I've ever come close to that, but I don't usually watch videos unless I'm on wifi. But anyways it shows Joker in what looks to be some clown makeup he's going to be using early in his career and people online are freaking out thinking its the final Joker makeup.

Yeah, you're going to need to get that. Its my favorite way they've incorporated her cat into a statue yet.

That sucks! I totally don't trust any of these companies to finish lines. Tweeterhead is the only one I think will actually do it as long as they stay in business...which has kind of made me go back to wanting to support them rather than spending $1K+ on Prime 1 Superman villains.

Ha, yeah. It happens to me often. I only have 5 GB and my work doesn't have Wi-Fi so I end up using it all between breaks and lunch.

I'll check it out.

Yep, I wasn't sure what to think of the face until I saw that hi-def picture. It definitely looks good.

What do you think of this premise?

You're really all over the place! I'm just so happy I have a plan that I've stuck with for quite awhile now, and I'm not going to branch out into anything else until I'm finished with Arkham. Then I can decide on other P1 stuff or if I want to try out XM.

That sucks.

She looks great!

I've actually been planning to pick the trade of that up when it comes out. I was actually going to buy this variant cover of #1 for it:

But I didn't realize it was a 1:200 variant which means the cheapest I can find it is $255.

But having said that you should get this regular variant of #1:

And I'm going to get the regular variant of #2:

Ha, I know! I would love to have a sweet 1:3 collection, but I'm not patient enough. I could probably have 30-40 1:6 statues by the time any of those 1:3 statues they showed start shipping! Plus I like too many other DC characters.

So you were aware a comic book with Booster Gold was coming out and you didn't tell me? Friendship over. Ha ha. I might pick it up just because he's in it.

That Harley variant cover is crazy!

I bet you change your mind about that at least 500 times by the time the 1:3s ship out.

I'm sorry, judging by that cover it looked like it didn't end well for Booster. I didn't want you to get triggered about it.

Maybe. Probably. More than likely. I can't decide, I keep changing my mind on whether or not I'll change my mind.

Ha! The covers usually don't represent what happens in the comics. That variant D cover is the best one!

That sounds like you. I still think you will fold and go full on 1:3 once Hush Supes gets there. Maybe by then they'll have other 1:3 DC characters you'll like other than just Superman stuff.

I'm just realizing that right now. Yeah I like that one a lot too. So are you tempted to start collecting any of these yet?

HUSH Superman is still like a year away, ha ha. I hate this hobby.

Ha, no not really. I'm more intrigued by the stories inside the covers.

Season 3 of Daredevil comes out on October 19 by the way.

Holy crap. I just looked. How is that possible?!? I guess I'll stop hyping P1 for awhile. That really sucks that its still that far away.

I used to be. Now I'm more intrigued by the stories going on around the industry .

Thats cool. On Blu-ray right?

Exactly! Now imagine how far out these statues they just previewed are. By the time they go up for order, we’re talking 2-3 years from now. That’s stupid.

Ha, I really don’t pay close enough attention. I mean I obviously keep buying comics without caring who the author is.

Ha, no. It’s being released on Netflix on that date. I’m super stoked!

It is stupid. But when you unbox it everything just seems worth it.

I never paid attention to any comic writer or artist was until a couple months ago and started seeing people talk about them. They were just never in the conversations I had in my circle of friends.

Well thats good that you're happy. You'll have to let me know how it is. I guess you could let me know when it comes out on Blu.

So are you getting Solo?

Thank you so much! Both the Batman and Superman statues are from Prime 1 Studio, which is a high end statue company. Both statues use real fabric for both of the outfits which makes them look like they came right out of the movie. These are 1:2 scale statues with an overall height around 43 inches each.
