Since they didn't seem to care about updating the soundtrack, I'll be happy with the digital version.
Hopefully they add the HDR grading to that.

Yes, yes, yes. Now i'm really pumped. As Geoff mentioned earlier in the thread, I completely forgot how problematic skin tones were on the old blu-ray - just f***ing awful. This is looking good.

Much like Geoff said, for me it has a fantastic film look to it. Thankfully, it's doesn't resemble the Nolan's at all.

And if that DTS-HD MA 2.0 is indeed the original soundtrack, oh wow, I'm so happy about it. Of course it would be better to have both, but I take the original mix in lossless over an exclusive Atmos remix any day.

Yes, and not only that!

Check out how the blown out highlight on the smoke had covered the red spotlights on the cap bellow. We're literally seing new things in the image.

Mine just shipped, along with Gladiator and Braveheart. Too bad they can't get here before the weekend. I think this summer is going to be remembered as when the UHD catalog really came into it's own.

Didn't someone earlier in this thread mention something about the DTS-MA 5.1 track being the same as the one that was on the last blu, which in turn was the same mix (aside from the lossy / lossless difference) as what was on the DVD / laserdisc, etc....

...and that that mix was the original unmolested theatrical surround mix? If so, why would the original stereo track be a bonus? Just as a curiosity? And I speak here as a purist. But if the surround mix isn't manipulated, then why opt for the stereo? I may be wrong about the 5.1 mix, too. Just seem to remember someone saying this regarding it being original.

...then wouldn't *both* mixes technically be considered "original" (one for 35mm and one for 70mm)? Not trying to be argumentative, just curious.
