Default American Werewolf in London

Hi all, can anyone tell me if the itunes version of An American Werewolf in London is the remastered edition? I see Universal done the remaster for Bluray but the movie is listed under Lionsgate here in Ireland and I don't want to buy an outdated mastered version.

I bought it during the week.

I gave it a quick look and compared it to the screenshots here - https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/An-Am...lu-ray/160245/ (I'm guessing this is the remaster).

I'm no expert but my opinion is no. The screenshots of the restored version look clearer. The iTunes version looks more like the screenshots of the 2009 blu-ray.

Thanks for checking that out, I seen it was on sale for 4.49 but I think I will give it a miss. I have already spent a lot on the 80s and Batman sales.

I've gone overboard myself and American Werewolf was an unnecessary purchase because I won't watch it until Hallowe'en and it will probably be cheaper then
