In the family room I went with the big-boy Swans - the 6.2F's for the L/R and an AV123 "Littlefoot" for the center and a Theater Solutions SUB15FM.

In the Bonus room L/R: Swan Diva 2.1, C: AV123 RSC-200 "Bigfoot," SS: Swan Diva R-3, Sub: Theater Solutions SUB15FM

I am nothing but impressed with the Swans and Av123 speakers. For music listening.

For HT - Mirage all the way

I'll get some pictures once everything is set-up. The new center arrives tomorrow.

Anyone watched Storage Wars? Looks like Dave Hester has a pair of M1si for sale.

Price is too high and I'd never give him any of my money. Also if they have been sitting in a storage locker, pretty sure the surrounds on the midranges are gone.

I could potentially find myself back in the Mirage family, shortly. A pair of pristine OM-7's, came up for sale locally, last year. But the asking price was stupid high. Fast forward, they are up for sale again, but this time around, realistically priced. I plan to look at them this weekend. If I can talk them down even more in price, they are definitely coming home with me. But I only want them if they are an absolute steal.

I see plenty of these for sale on ebay and craigslist. Get another pair. I regret giving away my M-Series. It was the best sounding speaker I've ever owned.

Welp, attempted to look at the OM-7's yesterday, but it appears someone beat me to it. Hope posting about them here didn't sabotage me.

I have been away for over 3 years. Not in prison or anything, just life. I am the Dad to a 28 month old girl now and have had a blast watching her grow up. I am not in New Jersey anymore. Yeah!. I now live in beautiful Denver Colorado. Home of Krazykat.
My home theater has been broken down now. And I just use my Mirage 15's for rocking out. I miss posting to Everyone on the thread.

I have been away a few years myself. Unfortunately my 28's are long gone. I'm now sporting MA Gold GX100's in a smaller setup. I'm right down the street from you guys in the Springs. Congrats on your baby!

Still waiting for the "right" pair to come available to bring me back into the Mirage family. The M-Si series is getting a bit too old and parts are unobtanium but if the right pair of OM5 came along I would probably pick them up. Maybe even a M5si since they don't have any foam surrounds.

Some M1-Si came up locally for $600 recently. They looked pristine from the ad. I emailed about them, never got a response. Checked the ad a few days later, it was removed. Somebody got a sweet pair of speakers.

Man that's an excellent price! I've never owned a set of the M1's but have had many hours listening to them. Great sounding speakers!
I've owned my OM6's for many years now and I'm still very much in love with them in my 2 Channel setup.
I use 6 OM5's in my theater and they are absolutely beautiful!
I wish Klipsch never got their hands on them..
Ian Paisley and Andrew Wilker are my heros

I have only owned OMDs, OS3s & Omnisats. Just how good are the M1si and OMs (I do have OM-R2s which I prefer over the OMD-5 for surrounds)? How do the M1si or OMs compare to OMD-28s?

There is local pair of M1si on ebay for $999. I also see the others posted locally here in SoCal. It seems the M5si may be the most durable but how does it sound?

What amp will you be driving them with?
I'd say that the M1's and the OMD28's are both hard to drive and would best be matched to a nice amp.
The OM5's are my favorite of the 3. Not to hard to drive and with their internal amp and bass/sub section they are just beautiful!
But all 3 speakers make huge sound.

You guys ready to see something that will make you sick???? Remember those M1-Si's I just posted about for $600? My mistake, they were actually M1 originals. They are back up locally on craigslist. Check what this scumbag scalper is asking for them. This royally pisses me off!!!!! https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/e...251374285.html

Man that's a big chunk of change.
Even if they are new as he says... if they've been kept in the garage I'd bet that they have foam rot...

That's a VERY nice amp.
And still is even for its age.
I'm a power tower guy so I'd go for a set of om5's but that's just me.. the M's are very nice also..
Gotta love this hobby..

I followed you years ago and you are one of the main characters I researched on this site you are very smart and wise in this arena thank you for all your contributions to this site which I have presently been able to join. I used Google to get to answer to the questions I couldn't answer in the past.
