Transsiberian is indeed more of a thriller, but he said trains freak him out. I found many of the train scenes in Transsiberian quite claustrophobic and creepy, which is why I suggested he check it out.

Hopefully Scream Factory can become the US version of Arrow. I would prefer something to tie all the films together more though, like a Orange windowboxed slipcover or something.

Stupid question alert:

Shout Factory titles can be purchased at retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, correct? They aren't exclusive to Shout's site?

The last time I watched Terror Train I was bored to tears, not every slasher film is a fun watch, I see a lot of marketing in this thread.

Even if it's not in stock at your local store, you'd still be able to order it from Best Buy online.

Shout! Select titles are supposed to be Shout! Factory exclusives, but I don't think that applies to any of the Scream Factory titles announced thus far.

cmac - is this title also licensed form Universal, or is it licensed from Fox? I see that Fox released it on DVD in 2004.

Thanks!

An interview with Terror Train's composer, John Mills-Cockell (there's also a Spottiswoode interview on the same site).

Glad it's coming out but still not a complete JLC horror collection until they release Road Games with Jamie Lee Curtis and Stacey Keach!
