Otherwise, for those saying Clark is dead, he died and came back twice in the comics pre New 52. After Superman died and came back against doomsday he had Supergirl-matrix shapeshift into Clark and he found him buried in the rubble, having been stuck there but "amazingly survived". And of course he more or less fakes his death against Conduit. Both times nobody see?s to question him coming back.

well with Green Kryptonite Superman can't really do much so Batman was fighting dirty. In the donnermovies Reeves can't even stand if kryptonite is near him. At least in DCEU he can do some but if its gets into his system like it really did in that fight its practically game over for Supes.

Couldn't resist buying a 3D disc-only on eBay. Never seen it in 3D and scenes like the opening with Martha's pearls intrigue me for the effect. Payed a bit too much, but the complete set with lenticular slip also for sale for little more won't accept questions- I aint missing on a DC lenti!

I'll be putting the 3D disc in my Steel with the Ultimate 2D disc.

Rewatched this, such an awesome 3D presentation. Really nice depth and layers, very well done. I just wish they had done the far superior longer cut in 3D, it's a much better movie than the theatrical. I have the 4K UHD for the longer cut though and 3D for the theatrical.

Yeah it is one of those movies I prefer extended, but since I got 3d and uhd I can't take it. I wonder if I could edit a cut in 3d that has the extended scenes in 2d.ill have to inspect the playlists and see if possible. Even if just having separate videos for each segment and have sequential play set up

I had a look at them. Ugh it'd be near impossible. Both are single file movies too.

Just a question about this movie......
I am thinking of picking it up used but it's a UK release. It says all region in the description on amazon UK but also the description says PAL format.

Does anyone have the UK edition and can they confirm it will play on a region A player ok (I'm not worried about the region issue, it's the PAL description that's confusing me)

You can never trust Amazon for region info, audio subs, anything basically. I don't think there's any such thing as NTSC shot movies being released as PAL on bluray, especially not in the 3D format. The only time you have to worry about PAL would be for 25p/50i UK TV content, and even then, a lot of modern US TVs and players will still play them.

I don't have this Warner title from the UK, but I have Geostorm, King Arthur, Lego Ninjago and Kong: Skull Island. They all play fine on Region A players. If it says region free in the title here on the 3D forum, you should have no issues.

Thank you both for taking the time to reply. I know amazon is notorious for getting their descriptions wrong but I just wanted to be a little more certain before placing my order.

The 3D version of Man of Steel is great, but I don't think I could watch the theatrical version of BvS, even in 3D. I watched it in the cinema and hated it, but I bought the extended version which is great. I can imagine a 3D extended edition being like Pacific Rim with both the 3D and HDR versions looking great, but the 3D version being more immersive and the better viewing experience overall.
