They did discount too deep, and too early for much of their existence. They fact they kept doing it through suggested they got stock and cash moving when they needed to by encouraging people to order more for less. Stock just sitting in a warehouse and no one buying has no immediate cash value.

I realize THE BARON is not in the same class as those, but I remember when it first aired in the U.S. and I was 8 years old. I've loved it ever since and it's a real disappointment Network couldn't have hung on just a little bit more to get this series out on Blu.

I to have memories of watching this with my dad on it's original run on UK always liked Steve forest as a leading man and the opening title theme still holds up well today ( the soundtrack by Edwin Ashley was available by network) as I recall I really hope someone can pick up the restored movies that network where about to release.
