Ok, so. Probably a stupid question, but...how do I get the "next gen" update for Control??

I purchased the "Ultimate Edition" back in December. Xbox Live still reflects that I do OWN the Ultimate Edition...
But it still only has the Xbox One version of the game on my hard drive. Checking for updates/downloads says there aren't any additional ones to be found.... So...how TF am I supposed to get the upgraded version??

There are a few articles about it crashing on Series X, maybe they pulled the enhancements while they sort it out. The store page isn't badged w/ "Optimized for Series X|S" or "Smart Delivery" so it seems like something is off.

It fortunately still looks amazing and plays great as is. Curious to see how ray tracing impacts the already great lighting.

Look at your ready to install list? the x/s version is a completely separate download from the one version. it does not support smart delivery and you will need to start from the beginning of the game.

Well in that case I'll wait til I beat it/replay to check it out. I'm several hours deep into the game and have no desire to start from scratch.

the ultimate edition has a separate achievement list, if that helps anything.

Is there any offline way to transfer your saves from an XBox One to a Series X without launching the game? The sites all say to do a network transfer or copy to an external hard drive, but I've done that and only the games seem to come over, the saves do not.
