Claire Danes was born April 12, 1979 in New York City, U.S.

She then starred as the 15 year old Angela Chase in the television drama series My So-Called Life, starring in the show and providing voiceovers for 17 of the series' 19 episodes, including the pilot episode. For her role, she won a Golden Globe Award and received an Emmy nomination. Despite being canceled after only 19 episodes, My So-Called Life has developed a large cult following. She currently stars as Carrie Mathison in Homeland (2011-present).

She has starred in such movies as 1994's Little Women, 1996's Romeo & Juliet with Leonardo Dicaprio, she was the voice of San in the English dub of Princess Mononoke, 2003's Terminator 3, 2007's Stardust, 2010's HBO movie Temple Grandin, and 2018's A Kid Like Jake.

I always liked Claire Danes. Brokedown Palace is such an underrated film IMO and definitely needs a Blu-ray release. If you have never seen it, please check it out!
