ye I had a delivery sunday past, I thought it was strange but then I haven't ordered much from amazon recently because for the most part there prices are beaten almost everywhere else including the supermarkets, at least there If I want that weeks new release I'm not paying an extra £1.26 because it's under £20 (very stupid move given even the new 3d release are at most £19.99 so they loose all those people just wanting this weeks new release) that's why I don't, plus at asda I can make sure I get a decent slip and usually save a £1.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet but good news it seems regarding the songs, I just checked Beyond the Sea and it is the original English version playing over the funeral scene.

Just received shipping confirmation for Amazon for X-Files!
Although, it's being sent Royal Mail Tracked (WTF!!)

I'm a PRIME member, and this is the first time in well over a year an item hasn't been sent by Amazon Logistics. I suppose they are swamped and passing over to other carriers at the moment.

I hope it's not setting a precedent, as I had nothing but issues with next-day delivery when my PRIME orders used to go via Royal Mail (Items being 2-3 days late.).

I'm not desperate to get mine bang on time tomorrow but it is odd that my Amazon order hasn't changed from We Have Your Order at all, yet it still says Delivery Monday 8th.
I'm not in work from now until end of January so I have plenty of time to get started on it.

Just received mine from Amazon Logistics ten minutes ago!
Glad I cancelled one day delivery. Standard delivery did the trick!

I think Geoff D, posted that at least our sets had multiple language menus, so there's a good chance the French BDs are the same.

Yep, I'd say the French and German sets are exactly the same discs as ours, they have English, French and German menus.

Don't forget the Japanese, too. Scans of some episodes have come in already, and, stunningly, there are the standard Fox hidden Japanese options (including the two different dubs) on them, so unless they're adding additional Japanese dubbing to the domestic release, Fox are making the Japanese wait three additional months, and pay four times as much money (in our currencies, anyway), to get the same discs with a booklet, a couple scripts and black cases.

That's pretty appalling, honestly.

It is what it is. The prices of software in Japan have always been horrendously high AFAIK, and if they're that desperate then shirley they can import the foreign set?

Most probably don't know that they even have the option. Although, in this case, it's highly likely that someone who is bilingual will spill the beans between now and March.
