There was no title on the spine mock ups, so perhaps it was supposed to be like that. Then again you could actually see a faint RoboCop title on the mock up, which thankfully appears to be gone!

Anyone? I have this pre-ordered, but can only play it if it is indeed region free, info that seems to constantly change. I'm hoping to find this out before it ships.

Can anyone confirm that actually has the disc whether the main feature, as well as the extras are playable on a Region A player?

I have it ordered but according to Amazon I should have it by Friday this week, I can place my player into region A and check it for you.

Nope, very disappointed with Zavvi, especially as I pre-ordered from them in September.

On their page for the steelbook:

"In stock on November 13, 2015."

Let's hope for luck.

Yeah I saw that, but I wonder if all of the extras are the same? DVD Beaver stated in their review this release is region B locked. I think that's where a lot of this confusion stemmed from.

Odeon posted on Facebook, according to Joppers over at Roobarb's forum:

"From FB, 5th November:

Dr Terror Steelbook and Amazon. Some of you that have ordered this through Amazon are unlikely to receive your orders for release date. Amazon cancelled their large new release order inadvertently and I have contacted them several times to point this out without success. Sadly there are few humans at Amazon to get hold of these days, in contrast to other retailers and etailers who have been calling us constantly to reserve more stock due to demand. I have told Amazon that we are reserving stock for them until next week when we will have to release it to other retailers as it goes on general sale on Monday. For those of you who have pre-ordered through Amazon and don't receive a shipping notice by Monday, please email them and perhaps someone there will realise they have a lot of orders to fulfill.

Then from the 6th November:

Amazon have just ordered a huge order today to fulfill their pre-orders. I don't think there is much more stock left (250ish) at our Sony warehouse, so almost a sell-out before it is released. Cheers everyone!! A standard Blu-ray and DVD will probably release in Spring next year."

So it looks like Amazon supply later this week is realistic. No idea about Zavvi, though.

One of the beauties of phone apps is that I'll be popping into HMV later and should they have one in stock I can cancel the Amazon one on the spot.

They had two copies so did just that. At least I got to pick my own although i can't say I've ever had a damaged steelbook from Amazon with their packaging. Dying to watch it but probably won't get a chance for a couple of days. #1087 for what it's worth.

Default Upcoming cult titles from Odeon Entertainment

I feel like I'm having a conversation with myself but I managed to get in a late night viewing and it's generally very impressive. There is a little blockiness to some of the grainier parts but I honestly didn't find it distracting and for the vast majority it looks excellent. The vivid Lee and Sutherland segments especially look fantastic. On to the colour and brightness, to me this is where screenshot comparisons can fail. It looked bright and boosted compared to the Olive but on my display was well-balanced and absolutely not overly bright at all. Colour-wise, without having seen a comparison I wouldn't have even wondered really. A slight orange push? Maybe but those tones are really only predominant in the carriage scenes and first segment. Overall skin tones especially are more natural so I'm leaning towards style than revision.

Only had time to watch the first five mins of the doc but that looks like it's going to be a cracker. Really glad I stuck with the Odeon disc.

Tested and it's definitely all region as well.

Weird, I had mine ordered with a £12 blu-ray for the same reason which I already got and I could cancel no problem.
