Request delivery via owl next time. I hear they are faster and more reliable. Sorry USPS is so messed up in your area.

The one thing that would make this game complete is of your could do online multiplayer so you could explore Hogwarts with your friends. I don't need or want to see a bunch of non-friends in Hogwarts. Just friends that I am doing a gaming session with. It could give it an even more Harry and friends vibe.

I will definitely be taking the carrier Owl next time, as I’m sure it doesn’t bite as much as USPS lol.

Carrier owls probably wouldn't work for my deliveries coming trans-Pacific to Papua New Guinea. But for those of you based in the States, Europe, or Australia they could probably be a better alternative to the postal system.

Doesn't need online at all. That's part of the reason why the world is so good. They didn't waste time trying to shove in some multi-player BS

I forgot about the non-Rocksteady Arkham Origins game. I never played that one. Thanks.
As far as the 5 WB published games I've played, I ran all of them from the disc and had no major issues without a single update, which is the reason I'm confident in WB Games logo so far. In other words, WB doesn't push for a release date if the game is majorly broken or has major issues from my experience. Results of others may vary, but 5 for 5 is a good track record IMO. They allowed for a delay for this game too. I appreciate that.

The castle is massive. I spent maybe 3 hours running around doing collections and side quest and just came across a massive area I hadn't been in yet.

That's cool, thanks.
How soon were you able to earn a broom to fly, and to be able to leave to explore the outdoors?

I'm nearly 11 hours in here, Ravenclaw represent! Honestly it really doesn't have many technical issues at all for me so far. Runs pretty great. Got the broom recently. The map is shockingly huge and dense. There's so much to do!

I may be a bad person to ask. I did a lot of walking around in the game. I was like level 12 before I got the broom.

You could have probably gotten it around level 4 though

Raised Blacks if you use 120hz modes.

I switched to 60 FPS Performance CAP.

When you see the brief loading screen which is pitch black, that is elevated in 120hz. In 60hz, No Black level raise.

Some people think it’s because of VRR.

No, it is not.

Yeah they're everywhere. I got it too. Personally it didn't bother me all that much, but they're doing nothing to help promote love and tolerance in the slightest by being bullies and trying to ruin things for others.

Avoid r/GamingCircleJerk at all costs. It's a huge reddit LGBTQ gaming community who are openly spoiling the game for everyone they can. They're having an absolute meltdown over the game being as successful as it is.

Can’t believe how much I’ve been enjoying this so far, definitely exceeded my expectations. This will definitely be in the running for my GOTY.

lol

Am back to “Balanced” Mode. 26 hours in.

Game visually is worth losing 20fps. I even flew around at 40FPS to get a feel. It’s easier to adjust to 40 in this game than others probably due to the fact that it isn’t heavily combat focused.

I have the PlayStation glitch where my “hours played” isn’t showing anything. Just shows trophies. I blame The Witcher 3. Booted that game up a few days before Hogwarts. Glitch started with The Witcher so not surprising it’s back.

I think you have to not play any games for at least 24-48 hours for the glitch to get fixed.

Sony's online "Hours played" is glitched? I thought it was fully broken and never fixed by Sony's tiny team of PS5 update specialists.*Keeping track of how much a gamer plays each game isn't rocket science, but Sony seems to have much difficulty getting it figured out.

On topic, good to hear the game looks and plays well.
I heard the day 1 update was 55 GB. That seems very excessive. When I get this game on disc soon, I'll run it without any patches and see if I can complete it.

Kinda odd, my wife bought this for me a while back as an Amazon pre-order and my copy hasn't even shipped yet.
