I hope the open world is giant, and the school is only a tiny part of the game.

That scene where Harry Potter (or the player) falls towards the hole in the wall and the bricks cover his entrance behind him, was first achieved in the animated game, Dragon's Lair, when Dirk the Daring does the same thing in a room in the castle. If he didn't get through fast enough by pressing forward, he'd get stuck in the bricks.

The game is called “Hogwarts Legacy”. Clearly Hogwarts isn’t going to be a tiny part of the game. It’s one of the most iconic locations in modern pop culture. A big selling point will be having a fully explore-able Hogwarts castle. I think that’s what you should expect instead of something else.

if Hogwarts has a giant world to explore with a city or town, that would be cool. I hope you can fly on a magic broom anywhere at any time. That would be cool.

I was trying to watch Part 1 Deathly Hallows but kept falling asleep. I'm not a fan of the series, but liked Deathly Hallows Part 2.

The game on the other hand, in an open world, is hopefully better.

A delay of another year, that's fine. There's nothing happening with the PS5 for early 2021 as far as I can tell anyway.

I don't think the delay is a bad thing and can give them a lot of time to make it as great a game as possible and they could always bring things forwards again if needed.

Even if it’s just inside Hogwarts, that’s awesome and will be so much fun exploring the castle.

The magazine interviewed Warner Bros. general manager of consumer products UK and Ireland Rachel Wakley. They referred to “two major releases in 2022”, the first being the third film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Secrets of Dumbledore. The second release is the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game, which was delayed in January of this year.

Currently, the game has an official release date of 2022, but Wakley’s statement seems to suggest that the game won’t be released until after Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore comes out earlier in the year.

be looking at sometime between January-March of 2023, as most company's fiscal years run from April to March!

I think as of now its Calendar so I would imagine Thanksgiving 2022, but it could also be fiscal which if thats the case yeah thats March 2023
