Yea that's true,Same with a cabin in the woods, it is not supposed to be black,so when brightness 51 on that scene from cabin it is totally black and that is not right.

Tested now Gotham the series and with brightness 53 it is still black.

Even Philips 55POS901F is better at above black than B6 or 2016 models is,and the philips use the samer panels as 2016 models does.
If the only issue is 'noise' you can fix that yourself on a non calibrated 2016 model. If you alway wait for the next big thing in AV technology you will never get a tv.
Heck, there are many 2015 Oled owners who are very pleased with their sets as of now and have no intentions of updating any time soon

I know what are saying and yes you can fix yourself with a meter or pro calibration,or you fix yourself without a meter, but it will not be right of course, but not every one can get calibration

Didnt I just suggest among other things to opt for bt.1886?
I wonder what would happen if we select 2.2 but we lower low point green and red to crush some of the near-black noise?

Netflix is just above average on this Oled,i tried glitch and designated survivor on my plasma, from normal viewing distance no problem, but when i stick my nose to the screen i see the same problem as on my oled tv,just more visable on oled then it is on my plasma but it is there.

All this talk of calibration and dancing pixels has me worried. My B6 is coming tomorrow. We have not had a new TV in yearrrsssss. (Old one is 1080p but that's about it).

How awesome is it going to be? I understand there will be some tweaking eventually, but really how awesome is it?

I beg to differ. Some shots from Penny Dreadful look like moving paintings

Well different opinion, he he.penny has black crush
intentionally, the BD disc do not,i own both season Blu ray disc.UHD like It will never look like from Netflix that we all know,At best 4K from Netflix can look like a good blu ray disc, but not quit of course, top bitrate on HDR is 15mb,1080p 7-8mb,it can look good of course, but nothing like a bllu ray or 4K disc.
