I purchased a 65 inch Z9D, however I had to return it do to a panel defect. I wanted to get a replacement set but they did not have anymore. I think the 65 inch Z9D's are discontinued for good. Best Buy still sells the 75' sets, however 75 is big for my space.

Amazon is currently offering 55C8 for $1375 and 65C8 for $2008. You also get %10 back if you use your amazon prime card. Not sure about deals on the other 2018 models.

yes but you have to order the one that is taxable to NY to get the 10%

so the buydig via google express is a little cheaper.

I just ordered the E8 Friday and it's out for delivery today.....

Ran youtube on my OLED yesterday and it updated. Now it has my MA 4K movies in 4K
I don't think I saw the 4K tag in the past. I routinely go through the apps (googleplay, fandangonow, youtube ) to see if they update to offer 4K.
Anyone else notice this? I have the older 2016 OLED C6 model tv.

Well I pulled the trigger on the 55 inch B8 OLED. It was $1109.99 at Best Buy (with 24-month financing). I'm very excited to own my very first OLED TV!

So now my wife & I (who urged me to make the purchase) will move our current SJ8500 to the upstairs living room and have the OLED in the basement.

Current OLED users, what can I expect?

When watching Dolby Vision discs, is it recommended to put OLED Light at 50? That's what I read over at AVS forums and saw a thread on here mention the same thing and just want to make sure. Cheers.

Your Movies Anywhere movies sync with multiple streaming services: Vudu, Youtube, Amazon, Fandango Now I think, Maybe something Google related service from the play store, Itunes, etc. Its a crap shoot how they redeem or playback on certain services. I am guessing that some of his movies are now playing back in 4K through Youtube which means some titles that may only playback in HD on other services may be streaming now in 4K there which is pretty cool. For me personally, I have only been able to get 4K playback on Vudu and Fandango Now (I just forget if that ONE movie synced with anything else). I will test later to see if thats the case.

Yes. Anything else alters the gamma. I believe the dynamic metadata does the rest.

So I just ran a quick test of youtube on my c6. I'd use vudu. For once, none of my Disney titles that I own in 4k came up as such in youtube. Others did, like Goodfellas and Blade Runner 2049. Others had a 4k logo under them where I didnt own 4k (like Venom) but when I went to watch the movie the highest I could select was 1080p and I didnt even see an option to purchase 4k which was weird. I didnt stick around to see the quality because honestly I prefer Vudu because it supports Dolby Vision anyway and it has the most 4k titles that I own on it.

By what year do you guys predict that we will no longer have any 2016 LG Oled 3D sets left in our households? I'm dreading the day my C6 will die out!
