Not that I've used them much but I've had no problems with CeX. Snagged the last copy of the LE of Millionaires Express, ordered last Friday received on Monday. Can't complain at that.

You have to narrow down what titles you want from each boutique label or studio check one week as the prices can change regularly.

Raging Fire (2021) 4k steelbook for 11.50 including delivery normally goes for 26 pounds.

the same steel with a different EAN is also present in Plymouth and Ballymena
if anybody here from one of these cities would be so kind to buy the item for me he/she would get to keep the discs free of charge!

I see CEX are charging 3.50 per item delivery here in Ireland now. That's me done, ive noticed past few months instore too that the cost of blu's have skyrocket. Id usually pick up a few things but past few visits ive came out empty handed. Seems crazy tbh.

Lots of Anime Ltd/Manga/Studio Ghibli titles in CEX Norwich, I think quite a few of the Manga titles are OOP now. Tempted by Ninja Scroll, though I only watched the DVD a few months ago so might wait a bit for a rewatch.

Interesting strategy.

Took a risk ordering Lake Mungo thinking it might be the Limited Edition version. Because why on earth would Cex be charging MORE for a used copy when it's still available directly from the label?

Not only was it not the limited edition, but it came in a blue case, which Second Sight's never come in. Will be returning ASAP.

Was in the Manchester Arndale branch today, ridiculous amount of pre print covers on DVDS, Blus and 4Ks. Biggest crime though was asking £28 for a second hand copy of the 8 film Friday the 13th collection with the slip case bent and torn and the Blu Ray case being caved in at the top, seen a couple of other box sets also in poor condition going for high values as well

I don't get the cover reprint thing. They refused to accept trade ins with damaged covers/ artwork so how do they end up with stock that needs reprinting.

They're either not checking then condition or they're given buttons for damaged trades. The condition of DVDs and BDs in my local was pretty grotty.

No cover items should be sold as DISC ONLY.

I’ve went to Cex loads of times to pick up something that the website said was in stock only to get there and it’s had a reprinted cover. It’s not even like they lower the price or anything.

Maybe not as bad as reprinted covers, but I saw this atrocity in the Tottenham Court Rd. store today! Herzog's Invincible had the same treatment, who the hell is is being so stingy with the Scanavos?? At least they were both the limited editions with booklets...

I ordered the Eureka Dead and the Deadly as I had a voucher to use.

Arrived the other day. They had taken the ghastly CEX sticker off, but by doing so, had ripped off part of the slipcover card

Why do they do this? Surely they realise these are collectibiles.

I should add, I don't usually have too many issues with CEX. But this was annoying and the blu-ray will be promptly returned.

It's generally done when cases get nicked.

Is that the larger LE wrap? it looks the smaller size of something that would fit in a normal Amaray and not a Scanavo.

Believe or not I traded that Devil In Blue Dress I only watched in once, everything is good condition. I actually thought they would except it but they did.

Pity it contains bugger all in terms of extras besides a restoration demo. Not even Casper Tybjerg's commentary that is on the Criterion release.
