Finally got to watch this. For most of the movie i was like, this is bad ass. However, there seemed to be about 20 mins in the middle-ish that didnt seem to mean anything. I loved that the baddie looked like a frank frazzata (however you spell his name) painting.

In USA, Wonder Woman 3D from Best Buy has a slip cover.

So this is down to $14.99 now, so do I order it or wait to see if it is a $10 title on Black Friday ?

Amazing movie, best of 2017 for me. I love pretty much everything about it. The 3D is absolutely stunning too.

I love guy Ritchie. He's probably my favorite director. But I hated this movie. Okay, hate might be a strong word. I disliked it. I loved the parts that reminded me this was a Ritchie film. The sound track, camera work, etc. But I just wish it wasn't so fantasy and all over the place. I got lost as to what was happening many times. And I still don't understand these giant animals. Or who some of the actors were as they randomly popped in and out.

Honestly had no interest in this when it came out last summer and wasn't the least bit surprised when it bombed, but I just read it'll be premiering on HBO in December so I'll give it a shot. Still believe Charlie Hunnam is an underrated actor (and was terrific in the underseen Lost City of Z) and that the smugness that exudes off of Jude Law is better served for villainy...this could be just the ticket on a cold winter's night.

Let’s face it general audiences are dumb as hell, so even if they’re not familiar with Guy Ritchie films this was still gonna bomb either way. There’s no interest in period films so to speak. I love Ritchie films since he has a style much like Edgar Wright, that’s their own signature way of filmmaking. Anyway I’ve been hearing this movie is better than the critics said & i planned to get it during Black Friday since it was advertised for I think $7.99 but it was sold out & then the next day on Amazon it shot back up to $14.99.

Michael Reuben must have been completely drunk off his ass when he reviewed this movie for bluray.com

I bet he's a really fun person to be around.

So there I was at the redbox this morning and for whatever reason this movie was calling my name. I'm glad I decided to go with my gut feeling because this movie was awesome. It's a cross between Lord of the Rings, Snatch, and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. I was worried this would be watered down Guy Ritchie because of the budget and the nature of the material but this has Guy Ritchie written all over it. Hunnam has good enough charisma as Arthur and Law is the standout as the slimy villain. He has a long career ahead of him playing villains if he chooses. The cast has really good chemistry together and it's cool to see the usual Guy Ritchie type characters in this type of genre film. I really liked the look of this with it's desaturated color scheme and there's a lot of creativity with the various monsters and such. I can understand general audiences and critics not digging this movie due to it's weird combination of Ritchisms and fantasy epicness. That said, some of the reviews are absolutely scathing and I don't understand the outright hatred of this film. The marketing for this film was atrocious but I think it would have bombed anyway since it seems like audiences just don't want to see this type of movie (see Warcraft). If you wrote this movie off due to the crappy marketing and crappy reviews you owe it to yourself to check it out if you're into this genre. I will no doubt re visit this film in the future and I might need watch Warcraft now or risk being called a hypocrite lol.

Since this was $5 at Target with the 15% off I figured it was a good time to get it. I like Charlie too, so it should be good.
