I have never relay gotten into his films and i was thinking of starting with this. I have watched a few and thought wtf yet i seem to always give him chance over and over again.

Perhaps it is growing on me.

It says the audio is DTS-HD 5.1. I thought it was supposed to be Dolby Digital?

Hmmm so I am wondering if this was the reason that the Criterion Blu's got delayed because I know initially it was supposed to be Dolby Digital. But great news had it pre-ordered already can't wait.

Great news, and great review; I can't wait until my blind pre-order arrives. Even though I've never seen Bottle Rocket, I have enjoyed every Wes Anderson movie that I've seen so far - and this should be no different.

Really enjoyed the review, Ben. Sounds like Criterion has decided to step up to the plate regarding the technical advantages of Blu-ray. I was definitely holding my breath on that, given their hesitance in the early days of anamorphic DVDs. Good news all around.

"That's Applejack!"
