Being a limited edition, though, who knows when/if the discs will be fixed, or even rereleased at all.

At least it should be relatively easy to remux the good BD 2.0 audio with the 4K video.

I sent Sony a reminder re. the 2.0 today and just received this response:

Me being me, I just asked again, if the replacements will indeed fix the 2.0, since they answered too vague for my liking and I'm a sceptical guy, but if they do (and if I actually receive them ), I'll be happy.

99.99% sure they just think you are complaining about a playability issue with your disc (ie. “customer needs a new disc, their’s isn’t working right”); nothing to do with your actual concern.

I don't expect to hear anything from them because customer service seems non-existent and when they do exist, they seem inept!

No worries, even if I should receive said discs (I didn't receive another response when asking, if "the issue at hand" is the bad 2.0 and when they shipped the discs...), I don't believe in fixed 2.0 until I've heard it with my very own ears...

Like Andreasy, I followed up on the stereo track issues with Sony and was told they were sending me new discs.

I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up, and I'm glad I didn't. I received the replacement copy of Ghostbusters II and the issue is still there. Dialog is coming through all channels, as before.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I'll let them know the issue still exists, but it's difficult to tell if anyone is even understanding the problem.

I received my replacements today too, but haven't tested the disc's yet. The numbers are the same as the disc's in the collection though.
