Just About to Purchase my First Dual Subs

Hi all, im finally replacing my old energy sub with either dual svs sb1000 or pb1000.

I live in a townhouse unit, my speakers are still the same as per my signature, only difference is, i now have a marantz 5011 instead of my old denon receiver. Room is about 15x18 feet and 9 feet high.

I play BD alot and not really in to music.

Please help me choose between the two.

What about dual paradigm dsp 3200 or 3100's. Then you have the ability to use PBK to calibrate each sub independently. This is handy when combining two subs into your space.

PBK= Paradigm Bass Kit.

Would blend nicely with your other paradigms.

If you are def wanting to go SVS and you watch more movies i would say the two PB'S since they will dig a little lower. If more music the SB's are supposed to be tighter sounding but the PB'S will still sound fine for music as well.

Thank you both for your input, i did looked into the dsp 3100 even before i saw your post but mason from sonicboom got me convinced with the svs, so I went ahead and purchased two of the SVS pb1000.

I will be moving in a townhouse too in a couple of months, just wondering if the neighbors complain or hear it when you play it reference level?

Sounds like a good decision. I like SVS PB-1000 than the SB12-NSD.

Package came in today. I already got it installed and calibrated. Going to break it in over the weekend. I'll let you know if neighbours start complaning.
