I can't believe no one remembers these. As far as i know, most parks don't have these anymore. Ahh the memories of burning my ass on a hot summer day.

I saw a Cylon raider this weekend at the flea market. I had both of these from the real() Battlestar Galactica. Mine actually fired the missles. Man my cat hated these things.

This was back when kids could actually had fun with their toys.

Just assembled and installed a playset for my kids a few weeks ago. It's not a metal slide, but it gets hot as &$% in this Florida sun. The only level spot in my yard, of course, is the one spot that gets 0 shade from all the palms.

My kids butts hate me.

It's pretty funny how we both seem to have had the same toys/games growing up. I never had the Cylon Raider, but I did have the Viper, as I loved the original Battlestar Galactica.

Curious, did you also have one of these? I did, complete with the characters and most accessories.

I was big into that show. I never got that one, but I did get a model kit that took forever to put together. I was one of the only kids with a Space:1999 water gun.

I had a couple of Eagles (red and green) when I was a kid. The Dinky range of diecast stuff was awesome back then.

As a small kid in the early 70s there always used to be a lot of toys around that came out in the mid sixties onwards. The one I always coveted the most was the Johnny Seven One Man Army (OMA).
