Problem is, I hit a plateau and it's been a ***** to hurdle so I recently started talking to a nutritionist to see what she can do about it. Still haven't heard anything since I sent her my food log but I hope she sees something. Feel like I'm busting my ass for nothing the last few weeks. Goal is another 15 lbs by April 1st.
I've hit a wall too. I hurt my foot about a month and a half ago (Friend dropped the squat bar on my foot ) and couldn't do anything for about two weeks and just was able to start running again last week. It sucks because I was really starting to get results and then BAM!... can't do anything for 3 weeks. Congrats to you for making a commitment and sticking with it.

Breakfast should be high protein and fiber with low fat as well.

Did my bonus chest and back today (supposed to be a rest day but I like to send the phases out by doing the hardest one a final time) got to 16 dive bombers in round 2, a personal best by 4 reps.

Recovery week this week, then on to phase 2. Shaping up to be much better than my first 90 days. I think the results from this round will be astounding.

Congrats on the improvements!

Like my pics show, I'm not ripped by any means. I've kind of come to the realization that I will always be carrying around a little bit of belly fat, but I hope that won't be the case.

I'm wondering, even tho I use 1% milk, if I have too much dairy in my diet. A few times a week I eat Kashi cereal for breakfast with a cup of milk. I also use milk in my protein shakes after I exercise, about 2 cups. Do you think that might be the culprit? I feel like the fat should be melting off of me working out like I do.

Could be, for sure. Even 1% milkfat is too much in my opinion. I've long since switched to fat free. The combination of a low fat (when you do eat fat make sure it's 'good' fat like peanuts or fish) diet and workouts like core synergistics, yoga x and ab ripper have turned my belly from chubby and thick to ripped and solid.
My breakfast is usually 2 egg whites, 1 egg w/yolk and bowl of oatmeal with oj or a banana, an hour after that I'm always ready to bring it.

Maybe I'll try the fat free stuff and see what that gets me for a few weeks. I've pretty much erased soda from my diet, I allow myself a can or two on the weekends. Other than that I drink coffee, milk and water. I mostly try to eat from the nutrition guides that either P90X or Insanity gives you with thier programs. A couple of times a week I cheat tho.....

Just remember a few weeks may not be enough time to see real results if you're still cheating a few times a week. Do you only do the insanity stuff or do you mix in P90X as well? I'm wondering because if you're doing p90x with the amount of ab/core exercises per week you almost get results by default as long as you're actually doing them.

I do an ab routine on my resistance days, either ab ripper X or cardio abs from insanity, so pretty much every other day. My abs are tight, I can feel them, but they are still under a layer of belly fat. I can see the upper abs, and the really low abs inferior to my naval, but around my belly button is being stubborn. The belly fat has gone down over the past few weeks, but not fast enough for me. Maybe I just need to be patient.

Did Yoga X today. I hadn't done that routine in months and have to say it was much easier and went better than I had remembered or was expecting. I still have a long way to go. It sure felt good on my back!!

Did Yoga X today as well to kick off my recovery week. Looking forward to Core Synergistics tomorrow, my favorite routine of them all in a painful kind of way!

I'm a bit of a gym-rat - glad to see a General Forum post about fitness/health! I currently workout 4-days a week on a 2-days on, 1-day, 2-days on, 2 days off, rinse and repeat routine. Been on this schedule for a about 4-weeks and I'm about to switch it up again to keep my body guessing/growing. I'm doing a winter/early spring mass/bulk and then a body fat cut before summer so I can look presentable at the pool!

Gotta stay healthy!

Anyone taking any supplements (legal) and having success?

Nice Avatar man!

For supplements I take a multivitamin and a fish oil capsule. I also get some protein powder at Costco and make a shake with milk and a cup of berries, usually blueberries or strawberries. I don't get super crazy with the supplements, mostly cuz they are kinda spendy.

Yea, if GNC could have their way, we'd go broke buying all their stuff - walking into that place is worse than strolling up on a used car dealership!

I'm doing a 3:2 protein/carb diet with protein supplement, a creatine/N.O. stack and a creatine/l-glutamine matrix and its really helped as I'm quite the hardgainer!

I use a Creatine supplement, Six Star Nutrition's X3 Creatine, works better as a recovery drink than anything I've tried yet. Still taking extra protein just not right after my workout anymore.

First 90 days I took no supps at all, just extra protein and got great results. Just goes to show you how important the diet is. This time around though I'm looking to take it to the next level entirely.

I'm sure you know this already, but with the creatine make sure to drink plenty of water as creatine can be a bit hard on your kidneys and being well hydrated is a must with that supplement.

Looking good, brother - wicked ink too! Solid food intake - that's the hardest damn part in my opinion!

Here's a recent progress/fitness pic of me:
