It constantly is going in and out of stock... keep checking back. I'm sure it'll be in stock again before the end of the day.

Ty for this info. I might just buy 2 at that price. Hopefully it comes back in stock.

Yeah hopefully! I found it on RFD so I won't be surprised if it is indeed actually sold out this time.

Where do people buy Twilight time and Shout factory titles? I buy Warner archives at wowhd.ca (they have some great prices for those) but when it comes to shout, their prices are awful. Amazon.ca is a bit better but most titles are 28$, way too much, imo.
As for Twilight, those are just awful. They are sold for great price on amazon.com but of course with the currency, shipping and borders you end up at 50$. Most places like wowhd and deepdiscount don't even sell them.
Just wondering what my fellow canadians do. :P

For Shout, I've heard that they've restricted where they sell their releases, which has caused the prices to creep up a bit. I buy them rarely now, but sometimes secondspin.com has good deals on used copies.

For Twilight Time, I buy exclusively through screenarchives.com, which is one of their two main sales portals (it's the one with cheaper shipping to Canada). The other portal is twilighttime.com. They have sales fairly regularly now. Anything other than their two portals would be third-party reselling, so the price is going to be elevated.

Oh wow, thank you, that is great help! I just ordered The hound of baskervilles from Twilight for 30$ CAN shipping included. That's incredible. The best i could get before this was 55$!
And that's really frustrating about shout. Hopefully things change soon.

Sounds selfish, but I really hope that it was only UPS parcels. I have a number of parcels coming via Canada Post.

Any tips for where to buy Flicker Alley titles? Their prices are great on amazon.com (but that's useless for us, of course) and then it only gets worse (40 to 50$ on amazon.ca and wowhd.ca).
Thanks!

Not a "deal" per-say but those of us Canadians who are Criterion-lovers can now sign up for The Criterion Channel as chartered subscribers.

The service launches April 8th, but if you sign up now as a chartered member you can either can sign up for $9.99USD a month, or $89.99 USD a year (~120 CAD) you get to preview the service through a movie of the week special leading up to the April 8th release. After then, you get a 30 day free trial, meaning you won't be charged until May - if you do not cancel before then.

https://www.criterionchannel.com/

The first movie of the week is "Mikey and Nicky" - which also comes with three supplemental videos.

Needless to say, I hope they find customers here in Canada. I've put my $$ down for a full year

IMPORTANT ACCOUNT NOTICE

To Flixster Video users:

Thank you for using Flixster Video to watch your favorite movies and television shows.

Following the announcement by UltraViolet that it will be discontinuing its service on July 31, 2019, we are writing to provide you notice that Flixster Video is planning to shut down its website, applications and operations on October 31, 2019.

To enable you to continue to enjoy your video collection after the shutdown of Flixster Video, we have made arrangements to allow Flixster Video users to migrate available videos in their Flixster Video collections to Google Play. Google Play is a global online store that is home to the latest apps, games, music, movies, TV shows, books and magazines you can enjoy and share on all your favorite devices.

Please note that certain videos in your Flixster Video collection may not be available for migration to Google Play. Certain other limitations may apply subject to the terms of service and available features of Google Play in your country.

We will provide you further notice and information once this Flixster Video – Google Play migration process is available for Flixster Video users, which is expected to be in July 2019

In the meantime, prior to July 31, 2019, please go to Flixster Video, log in to your Flixster Video account and make sure that your account is linked and remains linked to your Ultraviolet library to ensure that your Flixster Video collection is up to date

It's almost the end of July and still no process to migrate the collection. They did update this note on their site though:

Please note that the shutdown of UltraViolet on July 31, 2019 will not impact the titles in your Flixster Video collection or your ability to view those titles. You can also continue to redeem valid digital codes for movies and television shows on Flixster Video after the UltraViolet shutdown, but these redemptions will no longer be added to your UltraViolet account and will only appear in your Flixster Video collection.

We informed you in an e-mail last month that Flixster Video is planning to shut down its website, applications and operations later this year, and that we have made arrangements with Google Play to enable you to migrate available videos in your Flixster Video collection to Google Play. While we had expected the Flixster Video Google Play migration process to be available in July, this migration process is not yet ready and available for Flixster Video users. We expect to launch this service soon and appreciate your patience.

We will provide you further notice and information once this migration process is ready and available for Flixster Video users.

Any streaming posts belong in the Canada sub-forum. This has nothing to do with deals in anyway shape or form.

Free digital code:

Canadian iTunes code (through paramountdigitalcopy.com)

The Wolf of Wall Street

ETA Redeemed

Says it may not be valid after 3/25/2016 but I got to the Paramount page and it said it could be redeemed at iTunes (I don't have iTunes).

Please hit the thanks button if it's been redeemed.

(I'm too new to post in the free code area so it's here.)
