Finally, the sofa arrived:

Is it comfy? You bet.

It will be SO nice not to have to move chairs back and forth for when I have guests.

That is a very nice set up!

The only thing that I would do if I were you at this point is maybe put something on top of that center speaker that isn't reflective (but something that won't effect its function). Your photos of your home theater in action look very immersive, with it just being the screen surrounded by pitch black for the most part. But in most of them, I can see the light from the projected image reflecting on the top of that speaker.

But that is up to you.

The center speaker and the fronts are only a temporary setup. As soon as I have saved up enought money for it they will be replaced by M&K in-wall speakes which will be hidden behind the wall fabric.

I upgraded my front speakers and Center to M&K speakers. The two fronts are now hidden in the wall like the backs and sides. Now you can only see the center and sub. 10 invisible speakers. Feels like magic :-D

And they sound sublime.

How is the rest of the house reacting to this setup. IE with the way my house is built the entire 2nd floor will vibrate and you can hear everything below. Were you able to pop enough insulation in or was your house constructed well and it just works so the ppl below or above cant hear anything at all.

Single floor house. I live alone. One neighbour ten metres from my outer wall.

I can do literal earthquakes without disturbing anyone :-)

On which account?

1. Single floor house.
2. Living alone.
3. Neighbour 10m away.
