Arrived yesterday but apparently it had a rough ride getting here and the bottom of the box was dinged up pretty badly. Contacted customer service with pictures as proof and they offered me a 15% refund. I declined and said i wanted a pristine item since i paid full price.

They said fine then return it at your own costs with track & trace and we will send you a new one. A quick search on google revealed some pretty horrifying experiences with customers trying to return damaged items i decided to go with the refund after all. In short this has to be the most lackluster customer service experience i've ever had. Next time i'll go with Amazon as usual. At least their customer service doesn't give you the runaround and replaces damaged stuff without too much hassle.
That is very bad, you did not receive the item as it was described to you. The seller should be paying the cost of return. Have you spoken to the card issuer, you where sold faulty goods

Are there any current discount codes that can be applied on top of the Black Friday prices?

Have only ever had a couple of cheap bits from Zavvi over the years.

There are a few bits at the moment that I'm after and they are a great price but after reading some of the nightmare stories on here I'm really debating if to order them or not as I don't want the boxes getting damaged.

I sent a package to the UK and it is still stuck waiting for collection after a month, without any update. UK strike? Anyway, I wonder if the mail will ever turn up, as it should turn up one day.

I've found their shipping to be slow (I'm in Australia), but otherwise haven't had any issues with their service. They badly need a wishlist feature on their site and smoother navigation, though.

I paid less than £22 at Rarewaves and received it today, for your future purchasing decisions.

SAVE TO WISHLIST

NOPE - not on the AU site - tested, and its there in the UK one

Granted that ZAVVI no longer wants much of any business from Australians any more - given that we are BLOCKED from using the UK SITE, and many of the deals there, plus more expensive shipping, and useless generic message responses, and from the general comments in the AU/NZ threads...

... really SAVE to wishlist isn't much of a loss anymore. Many of us aren't bothering with ZAVVI anymore

Bet no one from ZAVVI reads this feedback in any case.

Offers change don't they? They are more-or-less just matching the deal HMV have on currently.

It will be interesting to see if anyone does a 3 for £30 after Christmas. Amazon did last year.

Royalmail dot com usually has the dates for forthcoming strikes.
Another option is to point google to uk, news and look up mail strike

PSA.

Watch those 'Order Status Update' emails from Zavvi. Rather than click on any links, login to your account instead.

I've just had one, despite not having any outstanding orders. But, y'know, Zavvi...

Do I get the cheaper price if they lower it after pre-ordering?

Have Zavvi stopped selling disc media to focus on T-Shirts or are they going out of business completely?

Why are you asking? They have 1000's of titles on their website. They haven't carried the widest selection for years, focusing on special editions etc.
