Sorry for the repost. I felt Pompo struggled with a few things. One was the runtime. It was a little clever what they did with it but overall you could tell that scenes *cough* final scene *cough* were very rushed with stuff skipping so much in 1 minute. Also the runtime unlike what others say here does NOT change the story or character development at all but is used as a joke. The animation was fine with the editing stuff but it could have been used more. Some people needed more character development who are some of the mains and I loved but didn’t get any at all. Like 0. And my final problem is that sometimes when this film had no ideas they pulled a “Random bullshit, GO!” For example, the bank scene. I’m not saying what happens because spoilers but the finale of that scene had me laughing my ass off in the cinema because of how absurd and dumb it was, which I don’t think was intentional. The movie overall carry’s a good message and I give it a 8/10. Pompo does not change anime or filmmaking. Nor is it worth the dvd imo. Wait for streaming to watch this. NOTE: I am not saying this is a bad film. But it needed more time in the oven.

Expect a limited edition release for Combatants Will Be Dispatched and Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town as both will be receiving one from Crunchymation UK this third quarter.

Dragon Maid S is also incoming but no LE was listed.

So two totally shit anime get a limited edition while Dragon Maid gets ignored again.

Is there any release of Your Name 4k that will play on US players? Is the Play-Asia Hong Kong version region free?

The UK version includes a region-free UHD. The Japanese deluxe collector's edition UHD will also play on US players, but is sub-only.

4K UHD is region-free. Buy this. It’s English-friendly (dub and sub) and MediaOCD worked on it, so you know it was in good hands.

I'll also just throw that of the 4K anime I've seen, I think Your Name looks the best. I have the JPN version, don't know if it's really any different then the UK one.

I believe the JPN version is the best in terms of video quality but also lacks the dub.

The UK version is 36.9 GB and the JP version is 53.5 GB.

UK: Total Data Rate is 39,468 kbps and total bitrate 49,633 kbps

JPN: Total Data Rate is 56,696 kbps and total bitrate 71,886 kbps

I don't have the discs in front of me (on the bookshelf) so I can't check the bdinfo.

Just watched the latest Kaguya S3 episode and it's absolutely insane.

Once again, totally unforgivable behavior from Aniplex US to abandon BD release after only one season. This is a show that I would pay ridiculous Persona 5 US release price for.

Yeah, it's definitely put me off buying S1 since the rest may never come out.

I'd definitely love to see both S2 and 3 come to US blu.

Didn't know MediaOCD did the Your Name 4K set there that is pretty cool. Not really sure if I need a 5th copy though just for the dub in UHD though lol

It’s usually been anywhere from 2 to 4 days to ship out for me. Then another 7-12 days to reach me. It’s not too bad all things considered right now.
