I don't often have too many issues with Zavvi, and when I do, they usually respond pretty quickly via Twitter DM's. Annoyingly, this has changed. This morning I finally got a response to multiple messages from Thursday. I've not had a response to my reply yet.

I pre-ordered Tremors with Zavvi but cancelled it today and went with Amazon because even if they did get around to dispatching it there’s little chance I’ll be getting it before Christmas based on my other pre-orders.

Strange question here; do Zavvi put your contact number on the outside of the packaging?

My brother ordered something but only realised after dispatch that it's going to an old address...

You would only see customer contact number if was shipped tracked shipping with a courier and depends on courier used

Standard shipping
Items shipped from Guernsey warehouse don't use tracked shipping and do not list customer phone number on parcel


Your brother will likely need to goto old address to get item or arrange Royal Mail Redirection if he based in UK or use An Post Redirection if based in Rep of Ireland

Yeah, they used to be pretty good at getting stuff delivered promptly. But in the past few months, I’ve had one Revenge Of The Sith 4K Steelbook go missing, a Solo 4K Steelbook go missing, a replacement Solo 4K Steelbook for said missing order go missing, a Days of Thunder 4K go missing, a Blade 4K Steelbook go missing and a late delivery of the Total Recall Collectors Edition 4K and a Ghost In The Shell SAC collection. I’m beyond raging with them as I now have to trawl eBay for a copy of the Solo 4K Steelbook because they’ve run out.

They've told me my Imamura set is now classed as lost post so I've ordered a replacement. Hoping a replacement won't go missing too... I'm worried about it selling out everywhere.

What is up with Zavvi’s order fulfilment operation? Especially on pre-orders that sit unfilled sometimes weeks after release?
I get that it’s the busiest time of year and extra covid problems and everything but all the other retailers are operating pretty normally. Look at HMV, they’re very efficient!

I got the Out 1 set within a couple of days of them sending it out so they are still sending stuff out.

I did wait almost two weeks for Prom Night to arrive from HMV (who took almost a week to ship it).

If Zavvi are still insisting on shipping stuff from Guernsey rather than their mainland warehouse in Warrington that may explain some of the delay. There’s currently virtually no flights or ferries there as they want to cut off from mainland U.K. and France. Same with all the Channel Island and also Isle of Man as they want to keep the island Covid free.

I'm also waiting for a lot of blurays from Zavvi. About ten titles. I only recieved one last saturday while they are almost all send on the same day. Normally I have it before their estimated timetable. Today it's the latest estimate date it should've arrived.

Mine are twelve days overdue. The Zavvi site wants me to fill out a form - is this everyone's experience?

I contacted them on on monday and haven't heard back yet. Two 4K's which have the 11th as latest estimate date and still haven't arrived.

One order from them shipped two days later but came from Spain for some reason and I received that after just 5 days.

I had one item before which came from Spain for some reason..

Why is it always Zavvi's stuff that's get lost in the post?
I've never had this many issues with any other online retailers, I'm currently missing 3 orders inc Solo steelbook and 2 other box sets.

I'm sure they're not posting out stuff like they're saying they are.

Spot on. Blade 4K steelbook was posted on the 7th and arrived today on the 16th, the label says Guernsey. I'll hold off from ordering anything else from them for the time being.
