Cool Scare A Con June 15-17 2018

Thought some of you might find this interesting. I'm pretty pumped to go! Hoping to meet Cassandra Peterson, Danny Lloyd & Kelli Maroney. Though there is a bunch more:

That's a pretty good lineup of horror actors etc really need to get out to the one that is in New Jersey which is really not too far from me.

I plan on hitting up Scare A Con, mainly to meet Cassandra Peterson aka Elvira , too bad she isn't going to be dressed up in character

I've got her Tweeterhead book that I plan on getting signed.

I'm also going tomorrow, I'll be the guy wearing a Full Moon T-shirt.

It's a shame her panel got cancelled and filled with her photo op which was supposed to be on Sunday. Sounds like she won't be around on Sunday since they mentioned scheduling conflicts so Saturday will definitely be the better of the two days regardless.

Man sorry, I just read this now. We just got back though. I stood in the Elvira line at 10am, I was about 3rd in line and then I spoke with the lady working at her booth and she said she wasn't coming in till noon. Well I bounced out with my son and we went and met all of the other celebs we wanted to up until noon. By then the line was long and the money was running low after all the stuff we ended up getting So I called it a day after lunch and walking around some more. Was going to get the Elvira DVD signed but maybe another time, and by then the Arrow bluray should be out...

Hope you made out well though! The guy putting the show on seems really cool. I definitely appreciate that it is a much more low key and quieter con then Rhode Island or Boston, etc.

Yeah, it was quite a laid back place compared to some of the bigger Cons. I had pretty much walked the entire thing within 20 minutes to get my bearings haha.

I saw that line for Elvira early on but also saw she wasn't around. Since her panel got rescheduled and the photo op moved up, I figured she'd be running late so I likewise went around and got most of the other autographs I wanted. I did end up getting a couple autographs from her after her photo op ended. Considering everyone else had pretty much no lines, I didn't mind waiting at least once.

[Show spoiler]

Tom Savini's sig got transferred to the other page, I should have held it open longer to dry but was busying getting a selfie with him. The irony of Doug Bradley's sig is that he says see you in Hell even though in his panel he says he's atheist which means he probably doesn't believe in Hell haha.

I regret not getting Amy Steel while I was in that room. I wasn't sure if I was going to have the funds so I held off and when I determined I would, she had already packed up her table, oh well.
