Default Can I connect a turntable with built in phone preamp to my yamaha reciever?

My receiver doesn't have phone outputs but if my turntable has built in phone shouldn't I be able to just plug to a input on the receiver and play?

Yep. Any standard line level input should work (DVD, CD, an Aux).
