So many people have gone forward in just this year alone, I thought that a chat about their departure makes sense. I am not a fan of the newest person, but I know that a lot of people loved him.......singer George Michael.

God bless you and his family always!!!

Holly

P.S. If this kind of chat being here is okay, maybe it should stay at the top considering the fact that this kind of occurrence is sadly a never ending thing.

I only heard the news about his death on BBC News over an hour ago.

I'm just literally stunned by this news. He was an amazing artist.

I will miss him a great deal. R.I.P George Michael.

Unfortunately I was born in '96 and in Brazil, so I couldn't saw Joy Division live during the late 70's and beginning of 80's, but I will forever miss Ian Curtis. It was a great loss and he was such a great musician/poet. I wonder what JD would became if he were still alive and they did that US tour (which, much probably, would make them famous across the world and bigger than what New Order became).
Gone, but never forgotten. Long live to Ian Curtis and Joy Division!

This isn't a singer, but a wonderful song was done about him. May Billy Graham be having a blast now that he is home!

It was on this day 20 years ago that my newest favorite singer went forward, if only I had discovered my late beautiful precious Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys sooner, I love him SO much!!! This was the first song led by him to go to radio and it went to #1 almost 30 years ago.

God bless you and his family always!!!
