Default CVS Carrying Movies U Buy

Saw only 3 titles in MUB bin in same aisle as As Seen On TV, So if you can't find it at Dollar General CVS might have it. Mine had only 3 blus, Diary of A Wimpy Kid Dog Days, Night at the Museum Secret of the Tomb and 2 copies of the Eagle

Misleading title. These are not movies I buy.

I don't know why this is in Dead Deals. My CVS still has a small movie kiosk, and I was happy to actually discover two Movies I Buy!

They had Dirty Harry / Magnum Force double feature for $4.99, and I had a 40% off thing so it was only about $3. I haven't seen Dirty Harry in forever, but I loved it, and I haven't seen any of the sequels. So this might actually just push me to spend more on the whole collection. :-/

Saw $5 BDs in two sections at CVS today, here too. Nothing I was interested in, but I was a little surprised to see CVS carrying BDs, much more so at that price.

I found out about Blu's at CVS by mistake. I knew about Walgreens carrying some as I found some good deals over the summer (my local store has restocked with a bunch of DVD's but no Blu's), but I hadn't even considered CVS. On Christmas day I happened to be in the store to pick up a drink and some GasX and I stumbled across the small Movies U Buy endcap. Ten's of stores later and here's what I got:

Jupiter Ascending (3D)
A Monster Calls
The Time Traveler's Wife/P.S. I Love You/The Lake House - Triple Feature
Billy Elliot
Firefox/Heartbreak Ridge
City Heat
Kelly's Heroes/Where Eagles Dare
Camelot
Charade
Big Miracle
Vacation/European Vacation
Mad Max Black Chrome Edition
The Legend of Tarzan
Four Christmases

A couple of stores had pretty sizable displays at the front of the store. A couple of more had endcaps. Most had them scattered in the center of the store either on the top shelf or the bottom shelf where you really had to search for them.

My nearby regular CVS no long has Movies I Buy. Really a minor shame because it was such a small standee that took hardly any space. I mostly only go in to get a bottled coffee or snack and it's always fun to find a surprise movie as well.

My 7-Eleven also has never had blu-rays from what I've seen, which I think are also through the Movies U Buy but maybe that's wrong. So my hopes of stumbling onto an East of Eden digibook feel a bit dashed and I might have to pay *checks ebay* $13 instead of $5 okay I guess that's not too terrible.

Check your CVS stores. I picked up Logan Lucky, Son of God and The Legend of Tarzan blu-rays for $.59 today. They were part of the 90% off Xmas clearance. They also had DVD's of Three Kings, Ocean's Eleven, Minions, The Lego Batman Movie, Fred Claus and Jingle All the Way 2.

YMMV of course.

I got Godzilla 3D Blu-ray (2014?) about two weeks ago at CVS from the "Movies You Buy" display.

I think they had about 10 different Blu-ray and 10 different DVD.

One local CVS said they did not carry movies, so I went back to the one from a few weeks ago and bought the other Gozilla 3D copy since mine had a cracked case. This one had a less cracked case :-), but I bought it anyway.
