If you google "warner archive", the little thing that pops up on the side says: "The Warner Archive Collection is a home video division for releasing classic and cult films from Warner Bros' library. It started as a manufactured-on-demand DVD series by Warner Home Video on March 23, 2009, with the intention of putting previously unreleased catalog films on DVD for the first time."

I don't know where they're getting that date, but especially based on your records of the sale dates, I do think it's the "official" date for their opening. I remember them calling it out as an anniversary sale on at least some of their Spring sales.

Picked up the following...

Doctor Dolittle
The Hot Rock
Gloria
Warlock

I miss the days when SAE would fudge the value of the discs crossing the border here. I used to order at least double the number of titles because of this in past sales over the years. These days; even with this order, I risk getting dinged by Canada Customs now as it's a little over their ridiculous limit.

I'll probably order another batch (or 2) before this sale is out as there are a bunch of westerns and a couple of Woody Allen titles that I still want.

Bridge at Remagen seems to be out at Twilight Time. Didn't know it was even low stock? Still shows as available on SAE

The search function is a bit screwed up at SAE (has been for a while)
Search by a single word - ' Bridge ' or ' remagen ' and hit the search button, don't try to select the item out of the dropdown.

or just use the link in OP which will take you to just the TT items at SAE , then you can filter by price or alphabetically

I decided to go big or go home, all $14.95 titles:
  • Pin Up Girl (Blu-ray)
  • Melvin and Howard (Blu-ray)
  • Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? (Blu-ray)
  • Talk Radio (Blu-ray)
  • Bedazzled (Blu-ray)
  • Gloria (Blu-ray)
  • Manhattan Murder Mystery (Blu-ray)
  • Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (Blu-ray)
  • Hospital, The (Blu-ray)
  • Bananas (Blu-ray)
  • Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid to Ask) (Blu-ray)
  • Our Man In Havana (Blu-ray)

With tax and shipping, around $219. Averages about $18/title. Not thrilled with it, but I can't imagine a lot of these TT Titles being cheaper.

A couple other items appear to have moved to SAE only over the day

A Bridge at Remagen
Count Yorga
Strange Invaders

On couple on the endangered list at TT though still have 50+ listed at SAE.
How to Steal a Million -- 10 copy left at TT
Exodus -- 6 copies at TT

There could be others, but I haven't worked my way through the whole list yet.

I should have paid more attention. BAR was on my secondary list to wait for a price drop lower than $15. I'm ok with losing out, just caught me by surprise.

For those who specifically want to make an order through TwilightTime.com only, there are several items that have gone OOS today and are now seem to be only at SAE

Strange Invaders
Count Yorga
The Bridge at Remagen
Exodus SOLD OUT at TT
How to Steal a Million SOLD OUT at TT

I think I've got a list of low stock items at TT mostly complete. Numbers are actively changing and a couple couple sell out fairly quickly, but this should be a reasonably accurate ball park. All of these except Most Beautiful Wife should also have separate stock available at SAE.

Manhattan Murder Mystery 19
Doctor Doolittle 45
Long Hot Summer 36
Forever Amber 70
Gloria 63
The Incident 81
Black Widow (1987) 87
Panic in Needle Park 86
Edge of Eternity 84
Auto Focus 80
Brutal Tales of Chivalry 88
Harlock 3D 90
Bravados 96
Crimson Kimono 98

These 2 have right at 100
Hot Rock
Most Beautiful Wife

I'm not seeing any of the remaining SAE items less than 50. Scorpio now sold out

Thanks for talking me down. I felt guilty supporting this malpractice in the past anyway, but that was the topper. They only have one title I'm really interested in anyway.

That shipping isn't too unreasonable, IF the cheapest shipping they offer is first class. Since FC is zoned now. A BD going to your same state would cost less than MM rates, if they actually bothered to weigh the package. But one going across the continent or to Hawaii or Alaska could cost almost double, so they have to charge everyone the higher rate, to make sure they come out on those shipments. Though that just begs the question why they don't offer media mail, when it's so much cheaper and very safe if they use a box or even just a few layers of bubblewrap inside a cheap bag. For any shipment that goes by land (not by plane), MM is treated the same as FC and arrives just as fast. And you can ship a 1lb box of 10 or so BDs, anywhere in the country for only $2.80 postage plus packaging costs with MM. So, if those rates are for MM, it's utter highway robbery.

Since some people are ignoring OP's request to stop complaining about shipping costs, I suggest posting such complaints in other, more appropriate threads. That way those who need to express their dislike can do so and the rest of us won't have to see it in every sale thread.

Vent your anger thread:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=210217

Pet Peeves thread:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=227928

I hope that the anger and pet peeve threads might be helpful to people who need to vent.

Has anyone received a shipping notification from TT's site? I put in my order on Saturday but haven't received a shipping notification yet. The only reason I ask is because several of the titles I ordered have gone out of stock since then, so I'm hoping none get cancelled.

I placed an order at TT's site Saturday morning, and I had a shipping email by Sunday night. Tracking shows it scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

Neither site is doing media mail anymore. Only first class.

Man, I wasn't going to do it, but as there are people who are compelled to tell me what I can and cant say in a thread when they endlessly whine about creased dust covers or some other nonsense...

Man those shipping prices are really high! If something like that really chaffed my ass, then I wouldn't buy another title from Twilight Time. I hope the folks at TT are heeding my rant.

I was able to find The BRIDGE AT REMAGEN, so I ordered it and 4 other titles from the last sale I was too furious to buy when shipping came up then.

Don't we have enough hall monitors on the forum?
