It's my guilty pleasure. I bang "I'm So Hood" in the car once in a while along with some other corny stuff. It's fun and light hearted.

Insane Clown Posse. The group Eminem clowns on all the time. Violent Jay and his group are something I couldn't get into but some people love them to death.

Not my style but I know people who follow them religiously.

Hellz yes it is!!! w/ICP you either love them or hate them, there’s no middle ground, they are too over the top for most people.

For the most part they are considered a rap group yes.

Here’s who I think is/was the best:

Started listening to rap music since 1992. Started out with Dr. Dre The Chronic, and all the way to the late 90's, and early 2000... My favorite will always be: NaS. From a young, to a now older and more mature NaS, he always has something to say, from the past to current events.

K'Naan is pretty good lyrically, all things considered...

Doom is always good for a laugh and has never stooped to changing his style for anyone

Shad K. (Canadian rapper) has great lyrics and is a positive rapper... and he makes me laugh
"I put the smackdown like its rehab/ Make sure that there's no relapse with these cats/ You cowards couldnt rap this dope with a zigzag/ I let my lips drag spittin with some big swag/ It's sad all these wannabes/ Wantin to be Jay, then K-West wannabes/ Star of The Roc, kid ya not Sean Connery/ But like The Rock I'm surrounded by watery/ Flows, still it really don't bother me/ Fake ballers, we game callers like Ben Wallace-in while I breath/ Quality music, gettin quality spins/ Ya'll stay 2nd-rate Chingy's at the Quality Inn/ Now thats a joke to a real rapper/ I could decrease the skill factor and I'd still make you feel wacker/ Aww gee, now you got me cocky/ Cats say "You the illest" I'm like Nah B, Nah B.../ Well okay probly/ But thats because I rap like its my hobby/ And not a jobby-job all sloppy and off-key/ Ya'll mad as March, tryna knock off the top-seed/ I'm in the mix like Roxy/ So hot, he even get props from Neo-Nazis/"

That was classic back then, but when I have a song playing on my ipod, I end up switching it to the next song. Maybe I don't like them anymore?

Lets talk about Big Punisher (Big Pun)

Since he had that fatal heart attack several years back. I don't know if it's just me, but I don't hear him more often like Pac or Biggie. Seems to me that Big Pun is the fogotten man.

I know Big Pun had 2 albums when he was still alive. Similar to Biggie who did not get see his 2nd album release. Could it be more of the West Coast, and East Coast dis that made Big and Pac so popular?

IMHO, I like Big Pun better than Biggie. As for Pac he would be top of the 3.

Remember everyone, don't confuse Hip-Hop with Rap. There's a huge difference.

lol it has been awhile, god imagine the greatness big and 2pac could have done if they'd been around now, they would have put all these kids to shame. And they still do with old stuff lol

There's a new remix/redone CD out every other week as bootlegs by DJ's trying to make it big.
