I'd love to be able to find the 1st 10 vols of Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun for my G-D but not having much success.

Thought I won the lottery when I saw ALL of them up at TOM but those are Japanese only eds...
I've got Berserk Deluxe Vol 8 coming with a gift card I got last month. I'm excited to continue the series. I've been caught up with the deluxe editions for a little over two months now. The wait has been annoying but it'll be worth it. I'm shocked that I had enough self control to not buy the individual volumes while waiting.

Now I'm considering Blade of the Immortal. It looks right up my alley.

I'm just waiting for the Cdn prices to dip on the 3 that I mentioned earlier and I'll toss in an order (damn near double the Usd price! ).

I think you will quite enjoy Blade Of The Immortal, InuYashaCrusade.
The artwork is stellar and the plot never gets dull, heh.

I'm hoping the price for the new Blu starts to dip as I'm very anxious to order that.
The LA (of which I bought the Steel) is quite good but not as good as the anime, for obvious reasons.

Oh, Hellsing ended up with a 3-vol set, so you may want to put some coin towards that as well as it's not too pricey, considering what we get.
Amz.ca has already sold out of Vol-1, fyi Buddy.

I'm halfway through Blade of the Immortal Deluxe Vol 1 and I can't get enough of it. The art is stunning. The series gives me Rurouni Kenshin vibes. Vol 2 came in the mail earlier today, now I'm waiting on Vol 3 to drop a bit in price before ordering. I'm already hooked.

Hellsing is on my list too, not sure when I'll give it a go but sooner or later for sure. Between Blade of the Immortal and Berserk I'm gonna need a shelf dedicated exclusively to Deluxe editions.

I just received;
- Hellsing Vol-3 (last Vol to set), and
- BotI Vol-3
Both arrived pristine, I'm happy to say.

Looks like Berserk Vol-8 will be released ~30 Aug.

edit: oh, I also wanted to mention, I did receive the "Berserk Guide Book".
Softcover, but still very interesting, glad I got it.
Gives some good explanations for who's who in the zoo.

Wasn't sure where to ask, so I will do so here as this thread seems appropriate and I don't feel the need to start a new thread. I have been out of the manga scene for a few years now and I finally decided to buy a Kindle (paperwhite) for a decent price. Because it is B&W, I guess I can read digital manga on the device so I'm wondering if anyone else on this forum has one of these devices, and if they have any suggestions on how to make the manga reading experience most enjoyable. Hardware tips, app suggestions etc. Are there any good manga-centric apps compatible with the Kindle? This is all new to me so please forgive my ignorance in this department and thanks in advance!

Hi kevers7290;
I personally know nothing about the Kindle but, I wonder if you paid visit to the "Bookwalker" web-site if they may have some info to assist you with, since they specialize in digital Manga products?

Best of luck Buddy!

Late reply I know, but I don't go to the manga forum very often.

Anyway, Kindles do not run apps, so that is out of the question. There are numerous manga available on them though, you just to look on the Kindle store for them (usually easier to go to Amazon in your phone or whatever and buy the Kindle version there, since the store on actual Kindles tends to be slow). There is also some crossover from Comixolgy too, but not everything. You can also sometimes borrow them from your library if they offer them as ebooks. Thats pretty much it for legit avenues, even though there are of course other ways that won't be discussed.

Now in terms of actually reading manga on the Kindle, personally I didn't care for it and much prefer doing it on my Fire 10 tablet for the bigger screen, faster interface, and ability to use apps. So I just use my Kindle for books, which is really what it's designed for.

For a good source for Kindle stuff in general I would go to r/kindle on Reddit.

I placed an order for Blade of the Immortal Deluxe Vol 4 earlier tonight. I was waiting for future volumes to hit $30 before I bought them, which is what I paid for 1-3. Found Vol 4 for $28.99 and added Berserk Deluxe Vol 9 for the same price to get free shipping.

^^ Hey Buddy, I'm super jelly the low prices you're managing to score.
Well done.

I was also curious if you put thought toward picking up the Hellsing series?
With only 3 Vols, it's a pretty low-cost opportunity to get them all and the prices during this coming Black Friday may drop lower still.

InStockTrades is where I picked those two volumes up at. They take forever to ship but I'm in no hurry to read these.

I've been considering Hellsing. I'm slacking on reading some of the manga I've got piled up from recent purchases. Before I get into anything else I'm gonna need to get through all of that. Probably in the coming weeks after work starts to slow down a bit more.
